Not much to say really...due to a bit of necessary reshuffling, the Empyrean Command project continues with a slightly modified roster. Currently based out of the Parhelion, aided by the ancient techno-mage Anahita are the following heroes (clockwise from the bottom left):Midnight Owl by

Will this roster stand until publication? At this point, we're keeping our options open.

Well, it's a woman actually. The character's name is Anahita and she's an intelligence whose physical body is in stasis, but whose mind exists within the Parhelion (the Empyrean Command's extra dimensional HQ).

The situation is not ideal, but it's mostly my doing and inflicted on the others in the collaboration by my actions...or at least my words. Hopefully it's not irreversible, but only time will tell. For the moment it's just regrouping and revamping and continuing onward.

Thanks! I need practice drawing these guys (even my characters), so I'll probably be tossing up a few solo pieces and action shots so they become more second nature for me. Even the characters I've drawn often could benefit from some practice.

Well Cactus Rose can be found in my "Relics Redesigns" folder. The characters' original name was Thorn, but that's been done so many times I wanted to give her something more unique.

She's a plant controller, so those are more like cactus spines. She can also animate plants, enhance plant growth and produce plant toxins and the like. While she's in her plant form her dermis is tougher than normal as well. She's pretty much Swamp Thing-lite.
