Orpheus Popos, aka Master O is a flamboyant, hedonistic sorcerer. Master O rarely directly engages in crimes himself, preferring to act through hirelings or minions. That, along with his prodigious girth have led more than one mystic hero to underestimate his ability and willingness to engage in combat. While Master O doesn't seek combat out, he is no shrinking violet and has knowledge of a formidable array of battle spells.

His actual, real weakness is his dedication to his art collection and his "companions", a harem of concubines (male and female) that keep him company and tend to his personal needs. These companions tend to be highly educated and have at least a passing expertise in a wide number of subjects and studies, since Master O is rabidly interested in knowledge. Unlike many villainous masterminds, Master O treats his hirelings and companions with respect, especially if they are creative and good conversationalists. It is because of this he inspires strong loyalty in his underlings. It is because of his flamboyant, gregarious nature law enforcement tends to under estimate the danger he represents. Even heroic mystics and mages have discounted the threat he poses, much to their regret.
