So, uh, yeah. It's a red panda. And it's cute. :3I tried hard on this one, and I think it's showed. Offer me any criticism you think is necessary.

I really love looking at this picture! The eyes are incredibly well done, I feel as though they are staring into me. Your background and branches are very nicely done too.
I would have done the back a bit differently- to try and convey the spiky furryness of the racoon- the lump in his neck looks painful. Adding more textures and layers of colour may have helped here, as well as having more upwards strokes, indicating the direction of the fur.
I feel that you captured the face and ears perfectly. The shading around the eyes really contributes to the live quality that it emanates.
All in all, a well done piece.

Of course we are biased -- after all this is Pinju - our most adopted red panda so we know all the supporters who chose to donate to us and get a certificate with him on it
But - did you say RACOON ? ?? ???
Ok ok, we are related, though we think this painting shows pretty well how good looking we red pandas are . . .

Would you kill me if I said it looked lumpy? *cringes* Don't kill me! I really like this, though. It's one of my favorite things you've done. I love the background and the shading/coloring is great. The eyes capture the curiosity of the red panda. It would be amazing if you added fur details but overall it's still adorable!

I wouldn't kill you. :3 I think it's the best thing I've done so far, but it's still faaaar from perfect. I did my best to stick to the reference (did you see it?), and there were some areas where, even now, I can't tell what's what. XD
Have you tried adding fur? ._. I have. It took DAYS, and it RUINED my picture. Maybe when I have more skill I'll try it. MAYBE. But until then, poor red panda will have to do without fur. XP
