Fanart for my friend Jivra , featuring king Thranduil and her elvish OC Elenya.
I really like them as a couple even if he's the king (duh) and she is just a lower elf. I don't know the proper term but you get me, they can't be together. I am such a sucker for romance stories

I'm loving the way you drew Thranduil's crown. You succeeded with it. And his face. ^.^~
The term of lower elf would be Silvan (wood elf). Thranduil is Sindar (Grey elf). (Galadriel is Noldor (high elf). Jus an FYI 
The funny thing about Elenya is that she grew up as a silvan and strongly believe she is.
However due to the colour of her hair (and some other traits not yet listed) elves of higher rank believe her to be otherwise. It is open for discussions.

At first I wanted just to doodle him but since he turned out to look handsomely I decided to draw Elenya as well! I thought his crown would be a nightmare to draw but weirdly enough I enjoyed drawing it o.o

Yea, first time I drew Thranduil I thought I was going to hate his crown but I didn't. I hated his robes.

Elenya: *sighs and shakes her head as she heads over to the main hall. Spots the royal robes and comes back with it nicely folded in her harms.* You are lucky that Thranduil didn't see you or he would have you thrown in the dungeons. *Giggles inwardly before she knocks on The king's chamber doors.* My lord. I have retrieved your robes.

Ael: *zips outside as she spots a very colorful butterfly*
Thranduil: *sitting on his chair, he taps his fingers against his knee* ...In my house, a thief.

Elenya: *Walks in, smiles and trying not to blush of the memory of the king's topless-ness from earlier.* Cheer up, my lord. Here is your robe. *Bows to him with a nod of her head.

Thranduil: *nods his head, still visibly aggravated. * This has not happened since Legolas was an little elfling...* suddenly his face brightens up just with the thought of his son being small*

Elenya: *Smiles at the thought of a young Legolas running around.* Children are mischievous. *Hangs the folded robes on a chair.* Legolas is not the only one who had the idea of stealing the king's robes. *pauses and thinks of little Ael who was naughty enough to steal the robe.* But he is probably the only one who was allowed to.

Thranduil: Indeed he was. Thank you for retrieving what is mine. *looks at her with a raises thick eyebrow* Where was it?
