Inspiration hit me when I watched this www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffcq6X… and except the fact that I caught more feelings about these two ( oh my heart
) , I felt like this sums up one of the main reasons why I like mercykill ship so much.It speaks to me on so many levels; it feeds my unhealthy obsession for love/hate relationships, passion angst and well, a tragic end. I have no hope that if mercykill was to happen there would be no happy end for them. But hey, i always have AUs if I want some love and fluff hehe
I tried to keep Gabriel/Reaper in character. People describe him the edge lord with no feelings but in my head I believe he is still able to show (and feel?) emotions. In my head, after the accident in Switzerland and him joining Talon, he still had feelings for Mercy even if he tried to suppress them by thinking she betrayed him. I guess Gabe doesn't do well with (potential) rejection. As for Mercy, she didn't understand Gabriel's reasoning but she still was ready to fight for him.
Now if you excuse me, I need to cry my 'feels' out T^T They are so precious to me...
