It was August the 19th, 2011 - Officially, World Photography Day.After realizing that I may not have as much time to spend on photography in the next couple of years (because of the toxic combination of work and my post-grad), I decided to carry through with one of crazy ideas.
That is, to shoot the Central area - in the wee hours of the early morning...
So, I packed my gear, put on my war paint and set off for Central at 11:30 in the evening... And yes, I went home at around 4:30 in the morning.

we call traffic lights "robots", maybe because they don't care about the human condition and how fast i have to go to get somewhere

I named the series "The Rushing" loosely inspired by "Rush Hour" - Jacky Chan + Chris Tucker which featured China Town sets and Hong Kong.
I hate rushing - but it is "The Way" that Hong Kong people live.

I love playing up the colours in my photos. I even hyped up the saturation on my camera to get an extra hit of the colours that night.
