What is up everyone! I am back after a three week hiatus. I wanted to continue on the story from a year ago, but there is another character you lovely viewers wanted me to do for sometime now. Well, you asked for her (several months ago granted,) and here she is, my Vinyl Scratch remake! To be honest I wanted to do a remake of Scratch myself because I got some cool ideals with her, but never gotten around to do it until now. Nevertheless, she's here now and has a story of her own apparently so what's makes this universe Scratch so important here.

Vinyl Scratch is a renowned DJ who is popular among the younger crowd in Equestria. She is known for her Dubstep and Progressive Electronic Music and is a member of the Musician Guild founded by her roommate and girlfriend Octavia Melody. Scratch's started off as a nuisance to Lady Maya Doi at first when she keep reappearing in random places where Maya happened to be in, but after becoming a member of the Musician Guild and was paired with Scratch by Octavia herself, Vinyl Scratch became one of Maya's most adored friends outside of the Mane Six. Maya and Vinyl was able to find a common ground when it comes to their respected genres and was able to explore many different sub genre in Electric music from House Music and Drum & Bass, to a more constructive Dubstep and even Vaporwave. The collaboration between the two of them gather even more audiences who has a taste for these different sub genres and even inspired some Equestrians to join Octavia's Guild. Despite Maya who doesn't really leave her town unless it has something to do with events that happening around Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Maya really does look forward with her annually collaboration with Vinyl, but as the "Deity of Passion" when she does fulfill the wish of whoever she is with, that person's desire for her intensify into an insane degree. This is no different when it comes to Vinyl Scratch since every night after their concert the two of them rounded up having their own private jam session at their hotel. That's just a summary here.

How Vinyl and Maya First Met (Pre-Doi & Scratch Collaboration)

Maya indirectly met Scratch in her own home at the early stage of her becoming in Equestrian. Pinkie Pie somehow got Scratch to throw a surprise rave party in her living room. That and the Party Canon blast to her face made Maya irate to the point her magic has awaking to the high level where she stayed classified to this day. Maya banned both Pinkie and Scratch from stepping back in to her house for at least a year. During that time Vinyl Scratch appears randomly wherever Maya appeared to be at the time which made her suspect that this may not be a coincidence. Her strange appearance as gotten so annoying to the point that Maya's Anthro counterpart has intervene and seduce Scratch using "The Touch of Ecstasy" on her and had Scratch to recommend them to The Musician Guild. Later that night after Trixie's disastrous Magic Show. Octavia and Scratch paid a visit to Maya and Rarity's house (along with a few other Equestrians) to seal the deal of her membership... With an orgy.... Needless to say seeing Octavia after that has been quite awkward for Maya for about several months.

Maya's Time at the Musician Guild

Despite how she manage to join, Lady Maya became the newest member of the Musician Guild. She register herself as a pianist since she has a knack in playing the keyboard as a hobby and she wants to follow in her mother's footstep since she is also a talented pianist herself. She was able to be the head pianist for Octavia's band for several months in until Octavia decided that her talent would be best suited for Vinyl Scratch as her keyboardist. After the meeting, Maya confronted Octavia about her sudden pairing with Scratch. Octavia explains that she's been listening to some of Maya's singles and believes she can help Scratch in bringing some more audience in by working with her since Maya is the only other person in the Guild that makes Electronic Music. Maya protest that she creates ambient lounge music not dubstep. Octavia sarcastically stated "Ah yes know that's your forte. I especially love your sleep session album that you ingeniously called 'Quiet Nights: Go the Fuck to Sleep! Therapy Session with Dr. Maya Doi.'" Maya stated "Well how else are you going to get these restless bastards shut their eyes!? I won awards with that album!" Octavia told her that her decision was final on this. Maya explains to her "You know who I am right? You know the story of Lady Maya Matsui 'The Deity of Passion.' Equestrians like you and Scratch are considered to be a delicacy to me. You even saw what happened to Scratch when my unicorn seduced her! Do you really want me to be pair up with your girlfriend knowing what will happen to her if we become too close!? Octavia says she well aware of what will happen to her and it's nothing she has to worry about since they are a happy couple regardless. Maya calls her a naive fool because that line has already been blurred from the incident at the magic show and not to mention the orgy that the both of them participate in. Octavia aggressively states "Yeah, I know what we've done that night! And I also notice you were focusing on Scratch that night more then you were with any of us! I seen for myself what kind of connection the both of you have and despite the style of your music preferences, the two of you will make an eloquent team." Maya embarrassingly submits and says "Very well then. I'll join forces with Vinyl Scratch. But don't say I didn't warn you." and left for the day.

Doi & Scratch (The Electronic Duo)

Lady Maya met up with with Vinyl Scratch at her recording studio work on their first single together. Meeting was an rather interesting event to say the least. When the two first met Scratch wouldn't shut up for ten seconds will she use blasting wubs at Maya's face, now she became more silent with very few words to say, but she does smile and blushes at Maya when she is near her. Maya starts off by saying "Well it's looks like we are going to be working together for a while, I guess we can start off by listening to our own mix and see if we can find a common ground when it comes to music." Scratch nods at Maya and starts playing one of her Dupstep songs. Maya told Scratch beside the familiar migraine headache the song gives her, it's not bad. Maya plays one of her ambient music and it almost put Scratch to sleep. "Yeah I get it. Most song like that does have that type of affect." Maya chuckles. "Well our primarily music won't fit to well with each other so is there a different sub-genre to you like to mix?" Vinyl plays one of her progressive trance music in which Maya actually likes the music. "Yeah I feeling this one Scratch. It's a lot better then the wubs and you actually get lost to the music, and you me to tell me it's not as popular as your Dubstep?" Vinyl nods. "Well I kind of get it. The progressive music is older then the Dubstep and is not as trendy, but you know what I learn when I make my own music Scratch?" Vinyl looks up head Maya. "Equestrian and Humans a like has a varies tastes in music. The ones that become popular will eventually fall from grace for the next genre of music that will become viral. The reason why I stick to the music I produce is not for the any sort of popularity. I produce it because it feels right to me. I know it may never get a chance to become big as all the other music out there since as certain amount of people can listen to it, but the ones I found who can our the most interesting group you will find." Vinyl continue to stare at her. "I'm not saying you should quit doing dubstep, I'm sure you became comfortable make these track. In fact, I might have some use for that concept. I spoke to Octavia about our partnership. She wants us both to come out of our comfort zone and come up with new sub genres to attract more audiences to us. She wants us to find new listeners and potential members of the Musician Guild. Well at least that what she told me. I'm kind of new myself with the whole collaboration thing but I think we do have something here in common. Let's start experimenting with the Trance Music and start branching out on other type of music similar to the ones we're use to kind of like a "Electronica Evolution." Vinyl looks at Maya blushing. "Sigh, fine we can become the "Sister Goddesses of Electronica" if you prefer, and as much as I don't like saying that." Vinyl hugs Maya. "Yeah I'm kind of excited about this partnership too Scratch. I think Octavia may have a point about us after all." Their first collaboration album became a huge success and some said that Electronic sub-genres and experiment with the ones they like the most. The two of them eventually became known for various different styles of Electronic music and even start a multi-tour where they make a concert featuring a different type of sub-genres every night.

Doi and Scratch has become a huge success after awhile and more audiences young and old a like begin gone to their concert and begin joining Octavia's guild. But as Maya has warned Octavia, Vinyl's passion with their music has eventually transfer her desire for Maya. It was all become too obvious at one night after one of their concerts. Vinyl visited Maya's hotel room while she was preparing for their next performance. Vinyl Standing next to Maya wearing nothing but her lingerie looking flustered and lascivious. Maya look shock and yet fears that this day would of come where her passion will become to overwhelm for her. Even a simple touch to Vinyl skin has became overly sensitive. Maya asked her if there's any other way she can work of her "frustration." Vinyl stares at Maya softly calling for her. " Guess it can't be helped anymore, I'm sorry Octavia. Alright Scratch let's do this." Since that night Maya only has to pay for one room instead of two and their private jam session continues after the concert. Some night's it became so intense to two of them falls asleep past the concert date leaving their pony counterpart to take over their place by turning Anthro and perform in their behave. After their recording and touring, Doi and Scratch takes at least an eight month hiatus for whatever personal life they have to do, but eventually the two of them get back together to make some awesome music together both on and off the stage.

It's undetermined if Lady Maya made a covenant of "Absolute Devotion" with Vinyl, but the way both of them perform at their concert and how the both of them move and dance in exact precision, only the ones who made that covenant can only tell if that's the case or not. Nevertheless the two collaboration has inspire future musician and DJs alike, and the both of them have so much fun then that ever had producing their music.

And somehow this is another long one especially for a minor character but hey I wrote a synopsis for a movie yet again.
