Here's another two pages from my Japon Sketchbook. I really did have fun filling this book out with all sorts of doodles and ideas. I still need to work in the Nueva York and Merida sketchbooks. Hell, I have other books that need their pages filled....need to get to those as soon as I have sometime.Hopefully, everyone is having fun so far in the 3rd day of the new year. Catch you all later.

themed sketch books sounds like a good idea. i would do the same if i could be more organized with my art. also if i didn't spend so much time playing video games lol.

maybe...you can...uh...sit your controller down more often and do some sketches. maybe do a series of sketches based on a theme that you like.
Also try to set time just for doodling...and have a goal in mind like a full page a day or something like that. Cool, catch you later.

Yep, I wanna go back to square one with my work. Ever since I got back from my trip from Japan...I had to do something with the work I was producing...I wasn't happy with it. The funny thing my clients liked what I was doing and they would ask for more of the same.....but to be honest, it got old.
I started this new sketchbook series, with the first book being called Japon, spanish for Japan (I think you would figured that out yourself).I bought this sketchbook in Tokyo, I started going from there. For this year gotta jam on new personal projects and keep developing my work. I even started painting traditionally and started building things like the Scary Teddy bag (that I put up here in DA) and those sorts.
Funny that you mention the Art Center days. I went through my Art Center sketchbooks (God I got a crap load that I produced) to get inspired and get into that mindset into just producing becoming that artist that develops more by feeling and flow than just technique and pretty crap. Well, I'll catch you later.
We need to get together soon.
