also in the new game Transformers devistation his sword was fiery so I thought maybe it was the same XD if anything it might be red for being a hot blade (would make slicing through enemies easier lol)

Read the wiki, apparently he has a energo-sword lol in other words just a energon sword, and originally Swoop actually had the flame sword... hm interesting lol
they probably gave Grimlock the flame sword in future generations cause it fits his raged attitude lol.
