No, but I mean people call Canada "The Great White North" and some people assume that in Sweden it is always winter and that we have ice bears walking in the streets and whales in our bathtubs XD We do get more snow than many other countries but that is taking it a step too far.

And Sweden is also famous for moose which I think Canada is too. I've never actually seen a wild moose though, we don't keep those in our bathtubs either xD
I think Canada and USA are a bit like Sweden and Norway, we sort of have a feud/rivalry as well and make fun of each other but not with real bad intentions. Neighbouring countries often do, I think it's the same with Australia and New Zealand, Australia coming across as the more successful one.

Oh, you already mentioned Neil Young. But this is awesome anyway. All my IRL best friends are Swedish like me, but I'm serious when I say that more of my idols are Canadian than Swedish XD
Don't get me wrong, Sweden is a great country to live in, but I think we're kind of lame sometimes. xD I just don't like Swedish movies or music very much. Most Swedish actors, for example, are really sucky but at least they're fun to make fun of x3

Also Hayden Christensen (Anakin from Star Wars), Paul Shaffer from the band on Letterman and Cobie Smulders (from How I met your mother and Avengers). Not sure if I can think of any others right now that you haven't mentioned yet. Anyway, I feel kind of bad about assuming people are American, but it's not that strange if they live in America, appear in for example American movies and put on an American accent. But I usually think it's more fun if someone is from Canada or Australia or something to prove that not everyone is American.

Canadians don't really have an accent. We talk just like any American since we are influenced by their stuff XD. And the reason most people assume everything is American is because a lot of stuff usually happens or is from there. I do agree that it is more interesting that someone (or something) is from another country other than the USA. I don't know much about Sweden, sorry, so I can't really say cool things (no offense) except that your country for sure has some good things about it and have 'Swedish Meal Time'. Also, we don't talk about the Star Wars prequels T_T They didn't happen T_T It's like Highlander 2

It's just that sometimes when you hear Canadians speak they pronounce "out" "oat", mostly minor stuff but I think it sounds kind of neat xD But yes, all in all it sounds like American English.
Haha, it's OK. I like some Swedish stuff a lot, like some artists (for example John Bauer and Per Γ
hlin) and animated movies but most of them are kind of old. The thing that bugs me about Sweden is that it feels like we think we are so cool and no foreigners really care. And we always think we are going to win every competition against other countries but we hardly ever do xD Lol, I haven't even watched Swedish Meal Time.
