Tandhruil, we try to make every issue work as someone's first. That said, Volume 1: Wounded Animals is a great starting point, as is this issue (Man and Elephantman), in stores today.

I must admit it's not really easy to follow Elephantmen, I've started with Hip Flask and I don't know what to read now.
Anyway, I love this universe and your style works well with it
