Description
A dragon I designed for my college course. Based off of Saphira from Eragon, she is described as being aerodynamic, so I looked at an eagle whilst designing the end of her snout, because they make me think 'Aerodynamic' I am quite proud of it ^^ ~Comments?

i just did a drawing of a dragon and used cross hatching...that seems simple when i look at your drawing lol

Oh I did that before I went with the scales, I did it around the mouth and nose too, but I did it so much it doesn't look like it haha! x)

Yeaaah, it's best to do it like that! I used a mechanical pencil for this, and I'd never used one before, but now I like, swear by them! Trial and error is the best way :3

i don't use any pencil but H and H2... its become a habit to use them (i thought that they didn't smudge as much as a regular #2 pencil) ... im weird.. lol

I just use whatever haha! I don't ever smudge pencils when I use them, and if they smudge by accident it really irritates me :L

i usually use the technique smudging for my drawings. :/ but if any of the smudge gets out of the lines im like, "Nooooo! -erases like crazy-" lol i use up lots of erasers~

Just kind of draw haha, you can't rub it out so I'd say draw an outline in pencil first. But, hmm.. it's hard to explain, I can only say try it out for yourself and develop your own technique, but cross-hatching usually works pretty nicely, I find the more layers you do the darker it gets, if you know what I mean? Sorry I couln't be of anymore help!
