Kirby Triple Deluxe: When in doubt, use Hypernova
Yoshi's New Island: A giant egg should do the trick
Pokemon X/Y and OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire: Use a stronger Pokemon, maybe one of an opposing element
Star Fox 64: Do a barrel roll!
Kid Icarus Uprising: Do what Palutena and Viridi recommend you; shoot at non-explosive & non-defense monsters, and melee the other ones all the way.
Sonic Generations:You can grind on the rails and land a homing attack on the support system.
Sonic Lost World: Try the Wisp powers, but not without collecting some rings first.
Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal: Use Knuckles to punch those robots outta the way.
Xenoblade Chronicles: Try a chain attack with Reyn and Dunban in your party.
Mario Kart 7: I would wait until the item is chosen for me rather than have pressing R.
Super Smash Bros 3DS: Block with R but not for too long, jump unless you're at high percentage, try to get close to them, then time your smash attack.
