Saw a couple of declassified flying disc designs from the 1950's on the news sites and had to build one. This is a rough representation of one of the Avro companies projects, No1794 for a flyind disc to crack 1000mph and 100,000 feet altitude. The prototype could crack 35mph on a good day at 3 feet, hence no flying discs today.Related content

I haven't seen any pictures of the real thing. There are videos of other flying disc concepts by Avro, but this was just declassified recently and all I can find are a couple of cutaway drawings.
