It's very rare to see Hylian!Dal smile, and even rarer to hear him sing, let alone hum a song.

But much like Link, it seems that delicious meals offer those who bear witness a brief glance into the young man's heart.

The tunes he hums are so low in volume that you'd probably have to strain to hear it. He probably wouldn't even notice you; too lost in his own little world as he absently stirs the pot of stew he's brewing to care about being seen. The act of cooking itself takes him back to the home he longs to one day return to, but the songs he hums may take him somewhere else.

Maybe to a cozy village that's somewhat hidden away, but still welcoming nonetheless. Maybe it's to a forest that's fun to wander through, even if you get lost. Maybe it's to a small ranch , filled with horses that were raised with love and care.

Wherever it takes him, it's enough to help him briefly forget the sword on his back, and the evil looming over the kingdom.

Treasure such a sight while you can, because once the meal is ready to serve or he realizes he's not alone, both the smile and the song will vanish...
