In Revali's eyes, Zephyr was little more than a featherbrained meathead.

He was never sure if he and Zephyr were really friends; Zeph liked poking fun at Rev (usually regarding his height), and while he never went out of his way to demean or antagonize Revali, he was so boisterous that Rev couldn't stand talking to him for longer than a few minutes at most.

Hell, the only reason Zephyr started talking to him regularly was because of their shared affection towards a girl named Violet. Revali loved her, while Zephyr was in love with her. Getting all buddy-buddy with his crush's best friend was a surefire way to get closer to her, right?

...In hindsight, Revali had to give Zeph credit on one thing; he was genuine. The test of giving Violet her favorite flower was one Rev figured Zeph would never pass, because of how important said flowers were to her. It wasn't something Violet threw around on a whim.

It was heartwarming to hear that Zephyr had forgotten all about it; he'd spent almost a year hanging out (and "attempting" to flirt) with Violet by this point. He wasn't chasing the goal Rev gave him; he was just spending quality time with the girl he'd fallen for. And she'd enjoyed his company too, even getting flustered whenever Rev asked about him.

And when Zephyr finally learned what those flowers were, he flew off to personally gather an entire bouquet of 'em. Heat of the neighboring desert be damned, he was getting Violet those warm safflinas!! ...Oh, what's that? He has heat exhaustion? Worth it.

Zephyr might've been a featherbrain, but he was a sweet featherbrain.

...He's sure their wedding was a beautiful one...
