A certain star-faced Koopaling is seeing stars on Day 3! With a little nudge from Dalex, Morton's gotten the chance to talk to Makani, the apple-loving baker/kickboxer and apple of his eye!

Dal had told Makani ahead of time that someone wanted to ask her out. So she wanted to look her best, which included wearing her favorite hair clip so her date could actually see her face. And oh, poor Morton... one glance at those square-shaped pupils and now he's tongue-tied! Makani's a little awestruck too, both by how cute Morton looks and the fact that... well, a guy's actually asking her on a date! With flowers and everything! It's the first time ever!

It's nerve-wracking for both of them, but Dal's confident that his BFF will be alright. Makani's got a good head on her shoulders, always been a good judge of character, and Morton's a good guy. She wouldn't even consider a date with him otherwise.
