Pink n' purple hit the stage with today's Koopa: Wendy!

While Wendy doesn't seek Dal out as much as the boys do, she still gets along with him whenever they cross paths. As I've mentioned before, Dal is a listener, so Wendy's perfectly content with talking with him about whatever crosses her mind as they wander the streets of the Koopa Kingdom.

Bowser worries about the safety of the younger Koopalings (that being Wendy, Iggy, Lemmy, and Larry), so he usually asks a minion or two to accompany them whenever they leave the castle to goof off, especially if they want to go by themselves. Wendy in particular doesn't like being treated like glass, so she would often start arguments with the guards in the hopes of driving them off. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't, but Wendy would get scolded regardless once Bowser found out.

When Dalex came along and Wendy caught word that Bowser liked having him around, she talked Dalex into being her guard for the day, initially planning to start shit and drive her new guard off like she usually did. To her surprise, Dalex was... okay? He never fretted over her, would ask about the places she wanted to go to with genuine curiosity, and as a bonus, he still looked young enough to pass as a potential boyfriend, so ambushes from fans were less frequent! This guy was... well, perfect!

From then on, Wendy would always pick Dalex as her first choice in a bodyguard. Of course, she couldn't always get him (he was away from the castle, another Koopaling got to him first, etc.), but it's still a relief to both her and Bowser that she found a guard she was content with.

(it's like ten minutes to midngith so technically I'M NOT LATE YET. HAHA!!)
