Dear Mom and Dad,

I made a new friend today!

His name is Kurai! He has wavy white hair and is super smart!

It's still kinda hard for me to play with the other kids... but at least I can talk to Kurai now! He likes telling me stories with shadow puppets!

He keeps asking why I'm not scared of him... I dunno! He doesn't look scary to me, I think he's really cool! I wish he didn't call himself scary all the time...

He says he's from Sino. I dunno where that is. Mom, you used to go to a lotta places! What's Sino like? Is it bad? Kurai said he doesn't like that place...

Kurai seems... sad a lot. And lonely. But now that we're friends, he can be happy! Maybe one day we both can play with the others!

Camp's still kinda scary... But I think it'll be fun with Kurai!

Local six-year-old manages to befriend a nightmare god that ran away from home. That's it that's the story XD

Not sure if this is actually canon to Trainer!Dal's story or just a cute mini AU, but it was rattling away in my head for a while and I needed to get it out somehow.

And yes I know this parallels Alicia and "her" Darkrai in Rise of Darkrai, but the story of Darkrai befriending a kid is adorable and should be done more OFTEN, dammit!! >:T
