Dalex (who was often called the "Mad Wolf" by his teammates) met Wolf during his days with the Husky Squadron, under the command of Bill Grey. What started as a simple security job for a freighter headed for Katina turned into the most intense dogfight Dalex had ever been in.
While the Huskies had Star Wolf beat in numbers, the smaller group was stronger, and Wolf knew it. He started getting a bit too cocky, and wound up saying the one word that never fails to piss Dal off: Mutt.
Upon hearing the magic "M" word, Dalex snapped, chasing after Wolf and shooting him down.Β
