Here's something a little different.It's a skateboard design inspired by the work of Erik Nitsche. It's not meant to be a 1:1 copy of his style, but more of a reimagining from my perspective. It was done for my graphic design class. I love space and the thought of exploration, before switching to gd, I was majoring in physics. I really like how this turned out. Detail shots and concept side by side coming up a little later.

I was doing pretty well in physics, but as time went on I just didn't see myself as being an actual scientist or physicist. Outside of schoolwork, I did a lot of photography and other art related stuff, my parents asked me why I was in physics when I do really well with all sorts of art stuff. I didn't really have a good answer for them, so I switched. The transition was pretty easy, and I've gotten really good. I'm really glad I made the switch.
I do still dabble with the science still, I help an astrophysics friend of mine with graphics and diagrams every so often. So I still have some sci based stuff occasionally.

Looks good. I'd use this deck if I were still young and still a sk8er.

Mainly I designed it to be a wall piece.
But yeah, I'd definitely be reppin this shit back when I used to skate.
