Outside, Dodsworth was finally getting his bath. Scrubbing back and forth on his back with a new brush, Gloria was talking about how she’s starting to enjoy her new enormous appearance

GLORIA: You know Dodsworth, I always wondered what it is like to be as big as you and the other elephants. And I’m glad it finally makes my uniform fit snuggly, you wouldn’t believe how often I trip over my very loose pants. The weather sure is strange though, the paper said it was going to be very hot, but I feel very nicely cool, someone must’ve goofed up the typing perhaps. You know, I usually start from the bottom when I wash one of the other elephants, but now for the first time, I’m scrubbing and elephant starting from the top

She kept on talking and talking about her massive self. Dodsworth on the other hand wasn’t too sure about Gloria in her new look, he thinks all that water weight in her uniform is going into her head, she’s really is enjoying herself being all huge and spongy. He also isn’t enjoying this scrubbing from Gloria, the new brush is really giving Dodsworth a minor itch in the back and the soapy suds are covering all over him. He was starting to feel tingling in his trunk
