It's a little outdated (apparently maniraptors are a kind of fish O.o ), but that is indeed one of my favorite shorts. In fact, I've got a soft spot for all the "edutainent" shorts Disney made back then ("Toot, Whistle, Plunk, Boom" ect.)

Wow, poor bird. I wish for the life of me I could remember if I've ever seen said cartoon. Your pic screams to me that I have but I really can't remember it. They should put it back on youtube so I can check it out.

This definately looks like a 'toon I'd enjoy, and I'm not really into Disney stuff. Like this drawing, looks funny.

Obviously, it must be tough! BTW, did Terry Gilliam really work on that cartoon?

Yeah, y'know, come to think of it, parts of it did kinda have a Monty Python look to them. I'd never thought about it 'til just now.

Technically, this cartoon came out around the time Terry Gilliam would've already been started working on Monty Python anyway, don't think he ever worked for Disney anyway then.

Now that's obscure! I do believe Ward Kimball would be proud!

Technically, the director of this short was one of the "9 Old Men" of the studio, Ward Kimball, whom worked on a number of unusual shorts and TV show episodes during that time such as this classic...
