When the secluded planet Th'nix was obliterated by a neighboring supernova, its indigenous race, the name of which has been lost to time, very nearly disappeared with it. The shy, furred people were never interested in the affairs of other star systems, preferring to keep to themselves. Only two known representatives of the mysterious race survived the destruction of Th'nix: Teryn and Tarin, a male and a female, rumoured to be twins but never seen or heard together, and perhaps for good reason.
Teryn, once a feared and shadowy bounty hunter, has become more known in recent years as an arms dealer for multiple factions, provided they are able to pay him well enough. His past remains as slippery as he himself, flitting in and out of the shadows, surfacing and disappearing wherever it seems most convenient for him. The few known facts revolving around Teryn often deal with his bizarre, unpredictable behaviour, but his loyalty to those who pay his fees nonetheless.
Tarin is very nearly his opposite: shining bright as a renowned pop idol, and known for her generosity. Prior to the destruction of Th'nix, Tarin was seen as a goodwill ambassador for her people, though now that her home planet no longer exists, she seems oddly reluctant to relinquish its secrets. Regardless, her public profile has only blossomed since Th'nix's destruction, and she seems largely unchanged by said event, continuing to inspire her fellow idols and philanthropists. As for any possible relationship to Teryn, she remains mute, insisting the two have never met. "Teryn... Tarin... they're the same name. About as common as John Smith among ancient humans. That's hardly any indicator that we're related."

Had these two stirring around in my head for a while so I figured I'd doodle em up while I was on the road this weekend. It feels nice to have some more characters in the X-Crew universe. Now I just need to make proper refs for the X-crew themselves. >.>
