Reflections. Where the hell do I begin...
Oh right, this year fucking sucked.
Real talk: I started this year with an anxiety attack that basically ruined my entire worldview for nearly six months. At the time I wasn't aware of what my mind was doing to itself, but the absurd number of artist deaths, several personal family troubles, and of course the US elections helped me realize that I have some form of anxiety disorder, particularly social anxiety. I was able to talk about it with family and a few friends, and now I'm en route to getting medication for it, but this year was pretty hard without some sort of check to those sorts of emotions.
There were good points of course. Working on Axugaem2 has been fun, and I'm still excited to do more work on Tooth and Claw this coming year. Summer was also a lot of fun, and I've been more confident than ever working on those commissions, some of which are present in this visual recap too~
I feel as though things have turned around now and that 2017 will be a genuinely great year, so I hope it's amazing for all of you too. Sorry for the personal rant, but I figured most of us are in the same boat regarding 2016 and how shitty it was. Let's be strong for these coming years and try to make the best of them!

On that note, I thought I'd do some previewing of what you can expect out of me in 2017. My main focus is going to be Tooth and Claw, which I really hope I can put a lot of work into over the next few months. In terms of other events, I'll be doing another JnA themed event later in the year called Burnett Week. Date is still TBA, but expect it to be some time around August or September. I'd also like to do another small Imperium-themed comic involving Carrie, Linda, and/or Laniz, but I don't have any ideas about that comic so that'll be later in the year as well. As for the summer, I'm hoping to do a final chapter of Crazed Elmira Chronicles, and I may re-open commissions if time permits. Otherwise, my New Years resolution is to draw and stream more, even if it's just doodles. Oh, and regarding Axugaem 2, though I am putting it on the backburner while I work on establishing Tooth and Claw, I'm very, very excited to resume work on it. At the very least I'll be patching the demo this spring and hopefully adding more onto it. We'll see!
