first art of 2019! i wanted to try my own hand at a character redesign and consolidate kaede’s colour scheme a bit - though I did sacrifice doing her school logo and a more detailed skirt to do so and totally didn’t just forget to do the logo, nope. i hope you like it either way!Commission Info | Ko-Fi

Her original design is fine,but this is pretty good.
I prefer Maki's beta design as well.

Ye, I also read that darker clothes and more formal clothes are good indicators of leadership, so I decided to go with a blazer to suit her personality more though i kept the skirt because a. that is actually a common motif on band students and i can attest to that as i used to play trumpet, and b. it's a really cute skirt
