I might have to start on the second round soon. ;u; Although another question, it says to use a Poke'mon inspired by the Trial Captain you pick, so I should use one of the Poke'mon they had in game? Or just a type they would be likely to have?

It can be one they'd be likely to have. Like, if you used Lana, the water trial captain, as inspiration, I'd expect the pokemon to be a water or water duel type. I'll update the FAQ on the rules page with this!!

Thanks for clearing that up for me! I was actually already planning on using Lana, but I didn't love any of her Poke'mon really? So that's why I was hoping we could use something else. Although I ended up adding a shellder to my doll as a little shout out to her original team. <3!
