Rose had only recently learned how to use cherry bombs, and they quickly became her preferred and main weapon as they allow her to avoid direct combat. Generally, she likes to carry around five cherry bombs, and they serve best as a quick distraction as they are noisy and generally cause minimal damage, allowing her to get away and avoid confrontation. They don't do much damage unless someone is in direct contact with one.
Rose bought this knife back when she lived in the slums in case she ever had to defend herself. It's a simple pocketknife that has a locking mechanism that allows the blade to lock into a fully opened position, the lock can then be released by a distinct action. When the blade is fully opened it is approximately 8-inches and when closed it is 5-inches.

The necklace that Rose always wears is actually a lighter in the shape of a book and it's something that she treasures a lot as it was one of the first few things that she had saved up to buy. Initially, she just bought the lighter because she thought it was cool and enjoyed lighting it for fun when she was bored but now she actually gets to use it.

Rose uses the thigh holster pouch in order to carry around her cherry bombs as well as her knife for convenience. She wears it on her left thigh since she's left-handed.

Rose had always liked to believe that she was an approachable and friendly person. She had always been the type of person that never minded approaching other people and starting a friendly conversation. For the most part she is energetic and lively, and enjoys letting loose and having fun. Some may find her enthusiastic nature to be infectious while others may be turned off by her seemingly unpredictable amounts of energy. With her boundless energy, Rose likes to act as weird as possible whenever she’s in the mood. Her jokes aren’t always well-received of course and at times she can make other people uncomfortable, but she would usually just laugh it off and continue to jokingly annoy those around her.
Rose’s curiosity is also a driving force for her, as she likes gaining new experiences and likes to view everything and everyone around her as a puzzle of sorts. She likes learning new things about her surroundings and other people and doesn’t believe in “irrelevant actions”. To her, everything has some meaning. Even though Rose appears to be weird and unpredictable at times, she does actually care for those around her more than most would believe. She likes to care for others and is always open to lend an ear, but she is also content to leave those around her alone if they’d like despite her worries.
As much as Rose hates to admit it, her high energy and enthusiasm does have its limits. Due to her curious and observant nature, it is common for her to overthink things. Simple things can make her think about it for days as she tends to search for an underlying meaning in everything. Small gestures or a slightly rude tone at the wrong time can cause her to withdraw and she tends to find it hard to control her emotions as they tend to control her instead.
While she can be bright and sociable, when she does find herself overthinking something she can become moody and turbulent. Often, she likes to keep her thoughts to herself, making her more quiet and introspective and withdrawn than usual. This issue of hers causes her a great deal of frustration as she doesn’t like being so moody, but that frustration only causes her to become more lost in her thoughts. Her thoughts can sometimes make it hard for her to focus on important things around her as well.
Aside from that, Rose can be quite reckless as she likes to believe that she is an independent person and likes dealing with her issues on her own. Whether it be her personal feelings or something more important, she doesn’t like asking for help and at times can find herself in trouble.

[ S U M M A R Y ]
Rose grew up in the slums with her aunt and uncle after her parents had left her in their care, since the both of them didn’t know if they could take care of a child at the time. They still visited her every once in a while, but Rose had gotten much closer to her aunt who took care of her and tried to spoil her. Life in the slums was not luxurious but the family of three managed to live comfortably enough, but Rose’s aunt was always weak. Her immune system was weak and she was had a hard time fighting off illnesses and eventually died, leaving Rose to her uncle. He was protective and usually liked to keep her away from trouble. Still, Rose was much too reckless and independent to be contained.
After POSRA had taken over Pearson, the two rabbits suffered as a result. Rose’s uncle lost his job and she lost her job as a courier as well. After much debate, she had resorted to stealing food from stores, taking advantage of the chaotic environment and riots. The first time had gone well, but the second hadn’t. She had nearly gotten caught by a POSRA officer and barely managed to get away. After that, her uncle had kept her hidden in his house and didn’t allow her to leave and rarely left her alone. For a while, she tried to stay in the house, but she eventually grew tired of being trapped. One day, she left the house just to take a walk and ran into a rabbit named Émeric Fabre who had offered to take her to BJBB as a refugee. It took some time to decide but Rose agreed and got taken to the brigade.

Odella had never really spent much time with either of her parents. While her parents were kind, they were also unable to care for the young bunny. After a couple of months of trying to raise a baby the couple quickly realized that they were not suited to be parents. They both had their own goals and were just not ready for the responsibility of parenthood. The two of them worked long hours and while they were attached to the small bunny, they didn’t feel as though they could give her the care that they thought she deserved. For a while, the couple debated on what they should do. Should they continue to try to be responsible of her or should they give her up to give her the opportunity to be taken care of properly? It took a while before they settled on leaving Odella with her uncle, her father’s brother.
Her uncle was a quiet and solitary man, he and his wife never had children but he was a dependable man that could care for her. While he did live in the slums he had a pretty stable life, if not a humble one. Her uncle lived alone with his wife who was more than happy to take in the young girl when her parents decided to give her up. Odella, being so young, of course didn’t understand. All she knew as she grew up was that the two people that took care of her were not her parents and that her parents had willingly given her up. Despite all of this, she couldn’t bring herself to be resentful.
At times, her parents would visit her but considering how busy her parents were, those visits were rare and oftentimes very uncomfortable. As Odella got older, they seemed to completely give up on the notion of visiting her. She didn’t really complain.
Life with her uncle was fine. Her uncle was just always quiet and kept to himself. The source of warmth came from her aunt as the woman loved caring for the young girl. She had tried to spoil Odella as much as she could, but of course it wasn’t really possible. Her uncle worked as a factory worker and made enough money to take care of everyone in the household but he couldn’t really afford any sort of luxury item. Their life was modest but they got by.
As the years passed by, Odella cared for both her aunt and uncle though she was much closer to her aunt who only seemed to grow weaker as the years went on. The kind and caring woman always had a weak immune system. By the time that Odella was ten, her aunt had passed away and then she was left alone with her uncle who only seemed to become more closed off after his wife’s death. The distance between the two never closed as time passed and they never seemed to be able to understand each other from that point on.
After her aunt’s death, her uncle had become more protective of Odella as he didn't want to lose her as well. He always worried about her getting into trouble or hanging out with the wrong crowd. His over-protectiveness frustrated Odella, and as a growing girl she began to pull back from her uncle. Whenever he would work, she would explore the slums as she believed that she could take care of herself. For the most part, she was safe and she had even made friends. It was through those friends that she had received her nickname “Rose”. The other kids said that her name was lame and called her Rose because of her bright red hair. Rose didn’t mind, in fact, she soon began to prefer being called by her nickname rather than her real name. Soon, her uncle was the only person that didn’t call her Rose.
As she got older, Rose became increasingly aware of the fact that her uncle was struggling to provide for the both of them. Their lives were comfortable enough but they still struggled. It didn’t help that her uncle was often too busy worrying about her to take on more hours at work. Rose wanted to help. It felt wrong to be so dependent on her uncle and she was sure that she could at least do something. She thought about simple jobs that she could do and eventually she realized that she could always make deliveries. There weren’t too many requirements and Rose had the skills to do it.
It took a lot of convincing but her uncle finally agreed to it, and so she went out searching for a job. The job wasn’t exactly exciting but it helped her become more useful and she also got to save some extra money for her own purposes, like buying the lighter that she had seen while out.
While her uncle had loosened his control over her, he was still trying to be careful and so one day he gave her a pocketknife. At first, all she could do was roll her eyes. He was being as paranoid as usual, she had thought but he was genuinely concerned. At the time, it had seemed as though criminal activity had spiked out of nowhere. There were rumors of some sort of organization made up of bunnies like her and her uncle. They were BJBB or something, right? Her uncle thought that they were just criminals, but Rose wasn’t too sure about it. She was curious but it seemed like it was hard to find anything out about them.
That was until the announcement of the public execution of members of BJBB. It was absolutely insane. While Rose didn't know anything about BJBB, she knew that what POSRA was doing was wrong. Wasn’t an execution going too far? But of course, she couldn’t voice these thoughts as her uncle would probably lecture her.
It didn’t stop her from being relieved and amazed when they managed to break everyone out. Her interest in BJBB never really faded.
Though the breakout was amazing, the consequences were dire. After those events, POSRA made the chilling announcement that Pearson would be under the control of POSRA.
The rising tension in Pearson had become stifling. Life was getting harder for both rabbits and humans. The new regime had become more oppressive than Rose had ever expected. Everyone was living in fear and dissatisfaction under POSRA’s control. It was becoming increasingly dangerous for Rose to even work and continue to making deliveries, and once the riots began she had quit her job and her uncle had lost his job as well.
Initially, the two rabbits were able to manage without their jobs. The government had began to ration out food, but it wasn't really fulfilling for the family. Her uncle, being as protective as he was, rarely let Rose out of his sight. It wasn’t just the lack of food that made the whole situation horrible for her as she soon felt as though she was getting trapped.
The unrest in Pearson did not seem to be calming down. Soon, their supply of food was going to run out and the small family was suffering. One day though, while her uncle had left to go check on the happenings in the city Rose decided to leave. There was an idea that she had been playing with for a while.
While POSRA was aggressively apprehending other citizens and especially rabbits, the riots were chaotic enough that it was possible to carry out her plan. After her uncle had left, Rose snuck out to the city and followed any signs of a riot. Taking advantage of the riots was the best thing she could do then. And so, for the first time Rose had tried her hand at stealing.
The chaotic surroundings made for a good distraction as she would sneak into stores and take whatever amounts of food that she could. It wasn’t much and she had to make sure that she wouldn’t get caught. Aside from that, she had to deal with the guilt as well, but she was sure that other people had been pillaging the stores as well. Rose had no choice.
Rose lied to her uncle when he questioned her about the food; she told him that some of the people living in the slums had given her food to help. Her uncle didn’t seem to really believe her but he didn’t question it much. As more time passed, she thought about possibly going out to steal again. Surprisingly the first time had gone pretty smoothly and she had gotten overconfident.
The next time her uncle was going to go out for a significant amount of time, Rose decided to do it again. She did exactly what she had done before, but things didn’t go as smoothly the second time around. She had been reckless, she hadn’t checked to see if other people had seen her. As she was leaving the store, a POSRA officer had spotted her. It took all she had not to freeze in fear before she ran as fast as she could. The riot had helped her; the chaos had made it hard for the officer to catch up to her. Rose took advantage of that and ran as fast as she could before she hid somewhere until it was safe enough to go home.
After a few hours of hiding, Rose finally snuck back home to see that her uncle was home already and he was furious. Explaining to him what had happened definitely didn’t help. If anything, his protectiveness got worse as he basically trapped Rose in his house to hide her. The tension in their home was stifling and Rose was only getting more frustrated with being a prisoner in her own home.
There were times that her uncle did leave her alone, but Rose had decided not to leave their home. She didn’t want to be caught by him and cause more problems but she couldn’t stand it anymore. She had no idea what was going on outside her home and her relationship with her uncle had gotten so much worse now that he didn’t trust her anymore.
On a day that her uncle had left her alone, Rose left the house. She had only intended to take a walk only to return back to being a prisoner. She was going to return soon before she came across another rabbit like her. He introduced himself as Émeric Fabre, and much to her shock, he had told her that he was a member of BJBB. Apparently he would occasionally visit the slums since he had come from there, and even more surprisingly he was willing to bring her back to the brigade and offer her refuge.
It took a lot of thought before Rose had agreed to go with Émeric, but she was tired of being trapped in her home and she was tired of her rocky relationship with her uncle. Rose was thankful for the man but she needed her independence. She eventually did agree and so Émeric brought her to the brigade and she became a courier in BJBB.

Rose had never been self-conscious of her height but she was teased for it when she was younger.
Her aunt and uncle taught her a little bit of German but she doesn't speak it much.
While not necessarily a tomboy, she always got along better with boys than girls.
She doesn't get scared easily, but scary stories freak her out as her imagination runs wild.
Rose really hates it whenever someone calls her Odella and will always introduce herself as Rose.
She's not a good cook and mainly likes to eat junk food whenever she can.
When she first bought the lighter, she almost burned herself while playing with it.
