This already stressful day is just getting worse!
What a close call!
Are you trying to tell me none of these ladies see that Emett is right there? How can you possibly miss him? He's even wearing a nice red coat for better visibility! Now tell me dear readers isn't he completely obvious? The pidgeon knows he's there, so the ladies have no excuse.
This situation is quite a bit more than Emett bargained for! He's supposed to be on a lovely date, not in danger!
Is anyone gonna show up to save him?!

Okay but I have to question the logistics of a society where people this small are allowed to wander on the ground without any safe guard.
Clearly this happens often enough that the missing list is long according to the last page, so frankly there should be an area sanctioned so he and the tall people can walk safely and with the peace of mind that they niether have to look up or down all the time for fear of killing/being killed.
I don't know, this is either blatant negligence on the part of the city planning department and police department for no proper investigations and safety measures.

Good point but wouldn't Tinies be taught from birth not to go somewhere out in the open where tall people walk? He's a tiny tiny, not even six inches.
And wouldn't you tell your date such critical information? This isn't like a race thing but there's a clear danger here for people like him, so why wouldn't this come up durring their conversations?

It sounds like short people are more like another race of humans that have been around. Still shame on the city for not enforcing safer says for them to get around and for tall people to have peace of mind while walking.
