Is there any way to remove the "web" that covers the album art? I was able to close the visualization with "close panel", but not the "web."

Thanks a bunch, this is pretty much the nicest-looking theme with a automatically-scaling "minimalist" GUI that works with the latest foobar. The columns and scrollbar are pretty bad (I know, based on the Windows theme you have), but I rarely use a large GUI unless I feel like choosing music.

if you want to keep the edge rounding, do not remove the corners.png line.

Thank you very much! Whilst I could cheat and use a custom windows theme to make it look nice, I wanted to show what can be achieved just by using the default windows (the screenshots above are under Windows 8).
Using a "dark" windows theme like Placebo or Appows works, I just can't stand my entire work area being dark as my soul >.<
Thanks again for the support

Right click the frame, and select splitter settings. On the script tab you want to remove the following lines:
$imageabs(0,0,150,150,$get(fooDir)overlay.png,,,,mempos)
$imageabs(0,0,150,150,$get(fooDir)corners.png,,,,mempos)
This will remove the cover art overlay.

Is there a possibility to enlarge the covers and/or show covers in the Quicksearch next to concerning titles (like the normal library setting)?
Thanks and nice layout btw. !!

You can change the size of the cover art in the Library View by heading to Preferences -> Display -> Columns UI -> Playlist View and setting the artwork width at the bottom of the page. As for showing covers in quick search, in the same area click on the groupings tab, double click on the grouping script([%album%]$if($meta_test(discnumber), - Disk %discnumber%)) and add "Quicksearch" to the Playlist filter.
Thanks for the support

Thanks as well for the fast answer and infos! The First part of my question though was concerned to the general cover size, upper left. In that case I think the left library corner has to be enlarged too. I tried somehow but have no clue.
So how do I manage that?
Best regards

Hmm, changing the upper left one is possible, however scaling of a majority of the player relies on this being consistent.
I'll include more fluid scaling with the next major release for this

very niceοΌ
one questions:
How to navigate to the location of the currently playing songοΌ

Ayian In reply to simear2004 [2013-01-11 01:51:37 +0000 UTC]
You can either enable Cursor Follows playback (bottom left) and the window will automatically select the currently playing song and bring it to focus (only on song changes). Or, you can navigate manually (the currently playing playlist should be highlighted on the left).
A more advanced option would be to go into Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts and assign a shortcut of your choice to "View / Columns playlist / Activate now playing"

but why are scrollbar and column titles WHITE?ΠΠΎ

Ayian In reply to DeusInDaemone [2013-01-07 22:15:24 +0000 UTC]
Because they are controlled by windows theme.

yeah... don't get me wrong, but it was kinda obvious and I meant 'why YOU LEFT scrollbar and column titles white?' and not make own scrollbars for foobar

Because foobar scrollbar and column titles are not style-able, except if you done these in WSH panel.

great interface! thank you for that work!
two questions:
1. how change view mode? (i read instructions but can't find anything about that)
2. can i undue visualisation on album cover? and how can i do that?

Ayian In reply to stenohaline [2013-01-06 12:13:19 +0000 UTC]
G'day, view mode changes as you scale the window. Simply drag from a corner and depending on the window size, the view will change.
To remove the visualization on the cover art, simply right click on it and close panel.
