Normal POV

It was now Natsu's birthday and are celebrating. Like right about now at night. They are cheering, laughing and gave Natsu gifts of course, but one particular person was away on that special day and Natsu's day wasn't that complete like any other day because of that particular person. Lucy. She was away on that day and he didn't know the reason why. He was suspicious of his guild mates because when he asks about where Lucy is some says she will be back tomorrow or is in a mission that the master ordered her to go to and when he asks about the exact location Mira will say it's a secret Natsu or We can't, Master's orders.

He was excited for this day. His Birthday and on that special day his bestfriend wasn't there to celebrate with him nor to even greet him with 'happy birthdy' with an added smile. He wanted to celebrate this day with her, he wanted to see her smile, what expression she will give when she give her gift to him and what will he get from her.

He goes with the flow on that party in the guild, he laughed, chat and smiled, but he felt he wasn't complete. His day wasn't complete. Everyday he always see her smile and he became attached to it that he even goes to her house just to see it. Well everyone has blacked out from too much alcohol, some who can walk went home, some slept on the cold floor and some are still drinking. Natsu didn't even got dizzy from the alcohol, his mind is set elsewhere and decided to go home, he even wanted to go to Lucy's apartment but there was no smile to be seen there so he changed his mind and just went home.

Little did he know that everything was planned and when they saw him somewhat sad and disappointed they already knew why and they had a sly smile beneath their innocence when Natsu asks them about Lucy. His Lucy. They would shrug their shoulders, some would make it confusing, and some would add nonsense and Natsu suspects them but he shrugged it and their plan already worked the moment he got disappointed.

Now Natsu was walking home to his house dejected, sad and disappointed but he didn't know that someone was waiting for him.

Lucy's POV

I was waiting for Natsu to go home that night, actually the entire time I was shopping for groceries, and cleaned Natsu's house when they were partying. I bought a chocolate rounded cake with two small candles.

I glanced onto the window and saw the figure of Natsu closing to the house. I placed the cake on the table and lit the candles, placed a card and hid on his bedroom and waited for him.

*BANG!!!* the door flew open and I saw Natsu closing the door with his feet *BANG!!* and saw that he has a grumpy expression with his hands tucked into his pockets and doubled look to the table with the cake.

He walked into it and reached for the card. He spun his head sideways.

"Happy birthday~ to you..Happy Birthday to you~ Happy birthday Happy Birthday~~...Happy Birthday to you! HEHE!! Happy Birthday Natsu" I sang it quietly while walking out of his room and greeted him with a warm smile that I knew he grew to like.

I knew he wanted to cry and was surprised at first "Psh! yeah! thanks" he said sarcastically. I didn't expect that but I walked closer and ruffled his hair and smiled at him.

"Happy Birthday! here's your gift" I held out my hands and showed him box

"yeah! like I would want that! hmph!" he was sulking at the same time pouting

"you don't want it? okay fine with me" I teased him. I purposely tucked it inside the pocket of my shorts and walked to the door

"Oh!" he turned around with a smile "You can eat the cake!" but faded. I continued walking to the door until arms stopped me from behind crumpling my blouse on the front. I tried to turn around but he wouldn't let me so I just hugged his arms on my front and rested my head against his chest.

"you won't be leaving when you haven't compensate me for making me sad" he grumpily whispered onto my ear and I giggled

"I did that?!" I pretended to be surprised.

"well then. I wanted to apologize for making you sad!" I wiggled out of his hold and bowed at him.

I lifted my head a little to glance at his pouting face, I thought of a silly idea. I readied and I launched myself at him and hugged him, making him lose his balance and we both fell to the floor while I was laughing.

I was on top of him, his face has an expression of surprise while staring up at me. I smiled down at him.

He was just there staring up at me.

Seeing his serious expression, my smile faded "I thought you've forgotten about my birthday" he dejectedly announced to me.

I cupped his face and bumped my forehead at his "Idiiiooot! Do you think I would actually forget?" and smiled warmly at him.

I closed my eyes for a bit reminiscing this moment while smiling. I didn't notice that he actually lifted his head and locked his lips on mine. The moment I felt his lips, I quickly opened my eyes shocked at his action and pulled away. He opened his eyes the moment I did that and looked at me with eyes sad and rejected. I was only there staring down at his expression.

He looked down "sorry" he apologized

"no..no it's just that....that was my fir-first" I averted my gaze at his

"sorry....I..stole your first quiche(keesh)" he apologized once again.

I giggled at his last word "no.....actually I'm glad" I announced happily. I cupped his face once again and gave him a peck on the lips but I was just about to pull away when he pulled my head and our lips met again I tried to avert but he flipped us over so I'm now underneath him.

"na-natsu.." I managed to say. He kept moving. I put my hand on his forehead and pushed his head away.

"I-I don't know how to kiss Natsu!!" I hurriedly announced at him. My face blushed the moment he was just there looking down at me.

He smiled warmly at me "it's okay....try again" he replied

"ho-what?" I frowned at his statement, my head was buffering then "I don't know how to move....l-like that!" I stuttered then blushed and averted my gaze.

He chuckled at my statement. "I never even had a boyfriend" I muttered to myself but he heard me I think, and he stopped laughing.

He dipped his head once again and pecked me but I thought that was the chance and pulled him closer. I tried to move, angling my head then gave him an open-mouthed kiss and he responded. He dipped his tongue.

I got tensed at first but got the gist of it, I tried to dip my tongue in but *clank* our teeth's bumped at each other

"ouch!" he exclaimed holding his mouth.

"I-I'm sorry!" I apologized. I think I'm going to cry. 'He's going to hate me'

"game over" he told me

"what?"

"you're really inexperienced when it comes to this" he chuckled

"game...over? so you mean this is just.....a-a....g-game?" I asked him, now hurt. 'He was just playing around eh?'

"huh?" he asked confused

"it's good being carefree eh?" I replied, serious. My heart sank, it hurts. I wanted to cry, like right now but I stayed still.

Natsu's POV

"game...over? so you mean this is just.....a-a....g-game?" she asked. She was almost angry at the same time hurt.

I never thought of what we were doing is a game "huh?" I managed to ask.

"it's good being carefree eh?" she questioned with a hurting tone. Her eyes were pooling.

'Where's my Lucy? I want my Lucy back, the smiling, noisy, pouting, honest and the always blushing Lucy. Please give me back my Lucy' I was panicking, seeing that she was about to cry. I don't know what to do.

I thought of a usual way to respond, I managed to smile down at her and bumped her forehead like what she did earlier "Idiooot, I never thought of this as a game. I Like You" I grinned down at her but she burst out crying.

"he-hey!! why are you crying?!" I was now really panicking

"beacuse *sniff* I like you too!" her nose was running and her eyes were bursting with tears.

"waah!! towel, towel, towel!" I ran to the bathroom and grab a hand-towel and wiped her tears and nose. I laughed at her face.

"your nose is red!! hahahaha!!" I pinched it again with a towel and her red eyes were just staring intently at mine.

"can I have 1 cup of smile please?" I asked her when I'm done wiping her nose. She managed a small smile.

"that won't do...I need 2 more cups of smiles please!" I ordered her.

Then she smiled, the smile that I liked and quiche(keesh) her forehead.

"can I have 2 cups of cake please?" she sat up and mused.

I just stared at her "it's slices" I reminded her. She blushed at her wrong statement.

"mood killer!!" she stuck her tongue out and bowed in shame. I laughed at her cute sulking action.

She stood up and leaned close "can I have a slice of your lips instead?" she mused and grinned at me.

I lifted my hands on the air "Coming right up!!" I announced and surprised her when my left hand snake down her back and the other on her head. I pulled her and gave her a quiche(keesh).

When I pulled away, I quickly went to the kitchen followed by her.

"Thanks! that was yummy!" she exclaimed while smiling at me. "Let's celebrate. I'll sing then you wish and blow the candles" she announced happily.

I nodded. She sang slowly while looking at the candles, she looked cute when she stared at the candles that lit up her face and eyes with the small light coming from the little fire.

Her singing was now done and nodded at me to do the wish and blow the candles.

When done "Now, can I have 2 slices please?!" she asked with a pretty-please expression on her face.

I nodded and grabbed a knife and plates. I sliced a big piece and gave it to her, she was drooling and chuckled at her expression.

She had the excitement and her brow eyes were eyeing the cake intently.

"you can't eat it if you kept on staring at it" I reminded her and she dug in leaving a bit of chocolate on her small nose and cheeks.

I ate 3 slices while she continued to eat her own.

When done she has chocolate icings around her mouth, nose and cheeks. I grabbed another towel and wiped the icings away.

"it's delicious!!" she exclaimed while I wipe the mess. "yeah, delicious" and licked her cheeks making her tensed.

"Hey! no licking!" she whined. "okay!" I replied and instead bit her cheeks "wah!! no biting!!" she pushed my face away with her hands full of chocolate fudge. Making my face stained with chocolates.

She saw what had happened and leaned close licking my lips that got caught by a fudge and stuck her tongue out at me.

I turned around and dipped my hands on the remaining cake and turned around once again to face her.

She looked at me curiously with her furrowed brows and with a teasing idea I pushed her face away "wah! don't look at me like that!" pretending to be embarrassed.

When I pulled my hands away she has chocolate all over her small face. "Naaaatssuuu!!" I licked her cheeks once again and this time she looked up and hugged me with a smile. She wrapped her hands around me and suddenly pulled away.

I pouted at her and she laughed. She cupped my face with two hands and rubbed my cheeks I smelled chocolates "AHAHAHA!!" she laughed showing her teeth. Actually you can only see her teeth from too much chocolate on her face.

She mushed, pinched and doodled on my face with her chocolate hands, she pulled away and looked at me with a nod and smile seeing her masterpiece.

I grinned evilly at her and without a second thought she ran. "Natsu I don't want anymore!!" she shouted at me.

"Lucy!" I called out and she turned around "I Like You!!!" I reminded her she smiled widely at me.

"yeah!! me too! but I need to wash!" she replied while showing her hands above her head "I surrender already!" she whined

"HAHAHAHA!!!" I laughed at her and nodded my head. She ran to the sink and washed her hands then her face and dried.

I washed after she was done. "where's happy?" she asked

"now that you mentioned it. I think he told me that he won't be coming home today. He said that he's staying with Wendy" I explained

I was still washing my hands when I noticed that she was putting on the necklace that she said she would give me on my neck.

"what's this again?" I asked forgot what it was called.

"it's a locket" she replied. I washed my face and when done I glanced at the locket. It was shaped like a book with a cross on the middle.

"open it" she ordered

I opened the locket to see two pictures. A picture of team natsu and the guild on it. The locket was big enough for the faces of the members to be seen.

"thanks" I turned around and gave her a smile. She was eyeing me "why do you look sad? something wrong?" she asked

"huh? nothing...it's just that I felt...something was missing" I explained to her

"what do you think would be missing?" she asked curiously

"a good cup of quiches(keeshes)" I replied back at her

"wha- pervert!!" she replied while blushing and failing her arms

"HAHAHA!! no seriously...10 cups of quiches(keeshes) pleeeease!!" I leaned close to her and closed my eyes. I felt her finger touched my lips and traced my chin and below my nose.

"there! perfect!" she mused at me. I smelled chocolates again.

"Lucyyy" I called out to her knowing what she has done. I peeked an eye open and saw her smiling innocently at me.

"what is it?!" she called out while making beautiful eyes at me. I snorted at her trying-hard-to-be-cute expression.

"you look.....weird!!! please don't do that again!! HAHAHA!!" she scrunched up at my statement. She stuck her tongue out at me.

"HAHAHA!! You look weird too!!" while pointing at my face. She reached for a towel and wiped it off my face when done.

She pushed aside the towel and looked at me worried "What's really wrong Natsu?" she asked.

"well...earlier I told you I like you....and you said that you like me back....do you...meant it?" I asked her hesitantly

She opened her mouth to talk but I butted in before she could

"I thought that you didn't mean it....I thought you might not like me back. I've thought to tell you my feelings today. So I didn't get the words out and instead got your f-first quiche" I looked at her hopeful

but before she could speak lights went on, and confetti were spread on the room.

Guild members were on my bedroom came from the window, some slammed the door, some went on the window on the main room and worst of all Reedus drew us hugging each other Me behind Lucy and Lucy leaning on my chest while caressing my arms.

"Wha!! How did you!!?" Lucy and I asked in sync.

Some grinned, some nudged me, some Gray was sneering 'how come you get a girl before me?', Mira was clapping with tears of joy, some are congratulating us, cheering on us and most of all Juvia was hand-shaking Lucy with all her might saying

"congratulations Love Rival!"

We were surrounded by our guild mates smiling and drinking.

Loke appeared in a puff of smoke "how come you chose this idiot instead of me princess?!" he was hugging Lucy

Lisanna nudged me "congrats!!" followed by Gildarts "hey Natsu! congrats on being a Man!" he greeted and Elfman came running at us "Yeah!! Confessing is Manly!!" he exclaimed with tears while wrapping me with his arms.

I lifted my hand up and everyone gave a questioning look "what's this about again?" I asked

Mira came over "we planned this for you Natsu!" she explained to me with a smile and agreement can be heard from the room.

"How planned?!" asked Lucy

"Well this is Plan B and what you did was Plan A. We only told you about Plan A though" Mira explained at Lucy with a meek smile.

"Then How come I didn't smell all of you?!" I asked now confused as to why

"Well you're too caught with Lucy and obviously your focus was only directed to her" explained Cana with a smirk and wrapped an arm around Lucy's shoulder

"I saw everyone passed out on the guild!" I replied at Cana

"Well the thing is it's just a light strong beer that can put you to sleep and made you think some passed out but you will wake up in 10 minutes or 30 minutes I guessed" Cana explained with a devious grin latched on her face.

"Hey! Natsu!!" called Gray

"what is it! you stupid Ice Spe-" I didn't get to finish my sentence as he threw the left over cake on my face. Everyone laughed including Gray.

I quickly took the round cake on my face and threw it to the laughingly unknown Gray.

"wahaha! Eat that!! You Male Prostitute!!" I exclaimed laughing at him, he threw the cake somewhere off his face and it unknowingly hit Elfman on the head.

Erza came in and stopped our bickering "Enough!" giving off a black aura.

"yes ma'am!!" me and Gray replied in sync.

"everyone let's give them privacy!" erza announced

"but we wanted to have at least 2 slices of lips from them!!" added Cana in a wink to Lucy which made her blush

"yeah two cups of kiss!! kissing is manly!!" added Elfman while Erza is blushing not knowing what to say.

"wah! no way!!" Lucy shook her head while blushing

"come on! just one peck would do!!" added Cana while pushing Lucy to Natsu

"I said No!!" Lucy pushed Cana's face away

"HAHAHAHAHA" everyone laughed at their fight.
