Previously: (Levy's POV)

Inside the Office

"yeah and that's the gist of all of it" I finally finished my explanation to Master who is now in deep thinking.

"Gajeel....I think you're hiding something" Master looked at Gajeel sternly while his fingers tapped on top of his wooden desk waiting for answers.

My eyes found Gajeel. A bead of sweat rolled down from his temples and trailed down his neck.

He looked calm with the blank expression he was wearing, and slowly raised his brow and threw a questioning look at Master.

"What do you mean?" I asked Master curiously and accusingly

He deeply heaved a sigh and spoke "never mind" He waved his wrinkled hand, a reminder that you should forget about it.

"well, it's not really my place to snoop around and it's not that I don't know but, it's really your position as a Dragon Slayer to explain"

Master Makarov pushed once again

"aaaanyway, I want you Levy to research more about Lucy's condition and some alternatives. Bring Gray or Natsu, or both.

but what I said earlier about confirming who is the mate Lucy is looking? did you find out who?" asked Master

"She said Gray but, I have my doubts and intuitions" I seriously replied

"yeah, as to what shrimp said. I think it's really not Ice Freak but that-" Gajeel paused and snapped his finger.

"Natsu!""Flame Brain!" both Gajeel and Levy said in unison. Gajeel frowned at Levy to which she stared at him and shrugged.

"hmm..hahaha!!! just thinkin' of them having brats make this guild more like a home" Master muttered to himself more loud I guess.

"well, it's more like. Check if what you both's intuition is true" Master's smile was beaming

"and Levy search more about how we can protect Lucy without the creature inside her reacting or to be more specific how we can prevent it from reacting" Master worriedly stated

"I leave it up to you Levy. Gajeel make sure that nothing bad happens" Master ordered and Gajeel nodded.

"Let's go shrimp" and we both walked out of the office. Gajeel closing the door behind

Normal POV

When Gajeel was about to close the door "I need to talk to you about that later" Master spoke softly to which Gajeel's enhanced hearing sense can only hear and he nodded closing the door all the way.

"Gajeel. Go to Lu-chan's place in my stead and stay with her until I'm finished reading the book" Levy ordered sincerely and Gajeel grunted in response.

"I'll cook you something in return" Levy bribed with a sweet smile that she knew the Dragon Slayer find hard to refuse and he simply nodded and walked out of the guild.

"hhmm..let's see" Levy bit her bottom lip in deep thought. Opening the book once again to the last marked page.

Since mates are completely rare for them. They treasure their mate like they're their life line and blah blah blah.

"Nope. Not that" Levy muttered inside her head

Mates can help in various ways. Easing their partners in rage, making their partners calm down and the best of all is to convince their partners to get intimate. Steamy isn't it. ".." Levy blushed as she read

When the Mating Ritual is done on the given time... "given time? did I skip into some parts? nothing's going to lose" Levy shrugged and flipped into the previous page.

"So that if you really want to turn back to being a normal human.." Levy muttered while reading the sentence.

"oh..here you are" Levy muttered happily inside her head

Actually the Mating Ritual is done in at least 2 or 3 days. To be in the exact order the Scenting Process is done at least in 2 days and the

Marking Process where the Binding is needed is done the next day.

The Scenting Process helps the Mate from getting Marked by others: By Hiding their own scent with the scent of their Partner, and for the other creatures to know that the person is already Marked and cannot be Mated. When danger arrives the Partner is obliged to protect their Mate from danger.

One more thing that the Mate can do is to calm his/her Partner when: in need of blood or when someone touched his/her partner accidentally or purposely.

Levy highlighted the important parts and continued in rereading.

Lucy's POV

"anymore questions?" I asked

"what did you feel when you bit me?" asked Loki seriously

I hesitated at first but inhaled then spoke "I-I felt hungry or something like that, then I-I can't remember anymore. Whe-When I woke up I-I found myself on the floor. Dried blood on my mouth and shirt then I saw Natsu, then Gray restraining me. Then I felt hungry again and I saw darkness for a second, then I heard Levy-chan's voice and realized what I said and my consciousness came back" I was stuttering, whenever parts of the story is coming inside my mind and images popped up on horrible mess.

I realized I was on a fetus position burying my face on my knees. "I-I....I'm sorry Loki *hic* *hic*" I was crying.

then I felt warm arms around me and I thought it was Loke but when I peeked it was Natsu.

"shh, it's okay" Natsu cooed softly while rubbing my back soothingly

"hey, that's my shirt you're wearing" Natsu pointed out and I looked at the shirt I was wearing and it really was Natsu's shirt, which made my chest pound loudly on my ears.

"why does my Princess have your shirt Flame Freak?" Loke asked jealously

"got a problem you Perverted Lion?" Natsu countered back not fazed by his question

"answer me you Flame Breathing Idiot!" now Lighting his fist with Regulus

"you pickin' a fight you Little Kitty!!?" Natsu bantered back

"just answer me dam-"

"no using of Magic Inside my house!!!" I snapped at both of them and instantly fell silent.

I sighed "Well, explain as to why I..have your clothes?" I looked at Natsu and he fiddled with his hands.

"W-W-Weell, I..ahh..kinda slipped some...of my..uhh" and unconsciously scratched the back of his head "clothes..when I wa-was staying for...the night hehe" Natsu laughed sheepishly

I sighed once again "what am I ever gonna do with you?" I muttered to which Natsu heard and stared at me for awhile but grinned suddenly to which it made me also smile

Normal POV

Loki saw how his Princess smiled or how she looked at Natsu with a soft or loving expression and he already knew or have the intuition to know what is the meaning of the look

"Pincess I'll be going back now. Natsu take care of my Princess" he winked at Lucy then disappeared.

"nii-san, is it really okay for you? are you really giving up?" asked Virgo when Loki came back

Loki was silent for a minute but smiled reassuringly "yep, it's who My...Our princess chose and I'm not gonna interrupt anymore and besides a Princess who is unattainable is more of my challenge" Loki sparkly smirked to which Virgo just nodded and left.

Inside the Guild

Normal POV

Levy returned to the present page and continued reading

Luckily the human will be cured so long as the binding process is completed, which is the last and now the human is free of the genes mixed within.

Levy read the final sentence and had a smile on her face "Lucky, Lucky Lu-chan~" Levy hummed inside her head. When she felt a rumble inside her stomach she quickly stood and walked to the bar.

"Hi Levy! finished reading?" Greeted Mira who now is serving beer on the bar.

"Yep and now I'm hungry. Omelette and some kiwi juice please!" Levy ordered with an unknown happiness to which Mira will ask later.

When Mira emerged from the kitchen with a plate of omelette in her hand and a kiwi juice on the other.

"So? What did you find out?" Mira asked as she placed the plate and glass in front of the Bookworm.

"Sho many, and I shtill need to write the important partsh" Levy explained with a mouthful of omelettes.

"when you're about to explain it to Master call me so I can go with you upstairs" Mira smiled and Levy nodded almost finishing her meal.

Now, Levy was finish finalizing her notes about the important parts and signaled Mira to go upstairs with her to which Mira smiled and nodded, exiting the bar then walked upstairs with Levy.

"hmm...great information as always Levy" complimented the Master to which Levy smiled gratefully

"oh, one more thing how can we" Master Makarov paused "how can you be so sure that Natsu is the mate?"

"hmm, to start. When Lu-chan came to my apartment at fairy hills Lu-chan already had wings, and tail to add it up Lu-chan was holding onto Natsu and what's more Natsu wasn't wearing his vest, making him shirtless and plus the information I got. The part where the Mate can make their partner calm down and plus Lu-chan didn't react when she got in contact or even touched Natsu and to add it all up Natsu is the Mate~" Levy sang the last part in happiness, while Mira squealed in a low voice but high tone.

"Good job Levy my child" Master once again complimented his child in amazement of her quick analyzing skills and quick thinking.
