These colors of this queen sized blanket were requested by some friends of mine. But these colors according to my boyfriend are Blasphemous because they are the White Sox colors and he's a Cubs fan. LoL.

I call it a box stitch pattern. When I first started learning to crochet the friend who was teaching me started me on this pattern. This pattern is quick going and the blanket itself is actually four triangles that are hand sewn together. It took me about 2 months or so to make this completely. Most of my large blankets that I have in my gallery are made with this stitch.

Well, reguardless of the White Sox vs. Cubs debacle, the blanket looks fabulous! Is it a granny square that just keeps getting bigger or something else? I can't tell with the angle.

It actually is this box square stitch that a friend taught me. I made four triangles using the pattern and then just sewed them together.
