Well I was skimming through the featured images and came across this. It grabbed me so i feel compelled to give a critique of my opinion and feelings for your work. First bravo, great technique to create this image and i like that it is inspired (im guessing) by Alex Grey as it is an artist I have recently found and got to grips with. The use of colour is great, really eye catching! I am no digital artist but It is obvious that it would have taken you a lot of time to create this and it shows. It is very interesting to look at. Well done.

- This is simply amazing. I just love the colors and, the way the man is on the background. Very nice composition.
I also like the choice of the colors and how they all blend together. The symetry is just perfect. I haven't got any words to describe how it's cool !!
I'm sorry, I don't give you the 5 stars for the originality, because it was inspired by Alex Grey, and it's very similar to his work. (:
Wathever, you've done a great job on him. It will be amazing to see that in a website, for design interface. Thanks !
Hope this will help you !

Do you have a 1920x1080 version of this? It'd make an awesome wallpaper!

Unfortunately no, I took down the option to download this since it was stolen so often and sold on sites.

Ah, how unfortunate. I must say, I like your style better than Alex Grey's! Your smooth strokes seem more aesthetically pleasing than the clutter I see in Alex's work.

Thank you, that's a huge compliment! Although I went for a more smooth and blended approach because I lack the skill to put extreme levels of detail in my art like Alex Grey does. If I could I'd definitely have all sorts of detail work and near-fractal like symmetry in my art lol.

First of all, I think Alex Grey would be flattered to see this. I think it's a beautiful tribute to his work but has your own style to it. I'm surprised this hasn't got more faves..
Where to start.. The balance is good, and even the background has patterns repeated in both sides. The colours are absolutely stunning. They are eye-catching, but not eye-searingly bright. There's also good contrast between the colours you used. At the risk of sounding stupid, I like your use of peach in the background. I feel like it's calm tone makes the background a little more subtle and separates it from the intense colours of the figure.
I anatomy seems perfect to me (though I'm certainly no anatomy expert). There's plenty of detail, especially in the muscles and most of it seems to be around the face, which is probably partially why my eye is attracted there.
I absolutely love the textures. Another thing I like about this is that, despite all the colours and chaos around him, the subject is very calm and, yes, focused.
Very well done!
