I bet you guys have lots... and lots... of question. Lemme break it down to you

Zero and Gadget was sent to an alternate universe due to a Ruby Bullet shot at their bodies during a mission. Their mind/soul was transported into a some-sort time paradox illusion.

For Gadget's story, he was sent into an alternate universe where Sonic is gone, Shadow disappears and Knuckles is bedridden, his mother alive and the jackal squad alive. So, Gadget is the leader of Resistance. And he has to deal with AU Evil Infinite. Gadget is pissed because he feels like someone is playing devil's advocate and he has to go back to square one. With the prototype ruby in hand, Gadget's strong desire to not give up (and also how pissed he is with everything), was able to weaken AU Infinite's ruby and tie him up. And yes, Gadget did turned into a sinnamon at the last panel.

For Zero's story, he was sent after the war, where the Resistance was disband and hide themselves to a safer place. Eggman empire conquered the world and Zero somehow still has the ruby on his chest. He stumbled upon AU mute Gadget which actually breaks his heart because the wolf was scared of him. Finding out that Gadget's family died and most of the Resistance was nowhere to be found, Zero finds a quiet place to weep. His ruby conjured an illusion of his Gadget. Zero took the moment to allow the illusion to warm him up because the world is too cold for the poor jackal.

This was the idea that I scrap. I might consider but the grim and angsty elements will be toned down.. like a lot.

Anyhow, I hope your mind didn't wonder somewhere else, guys I'm going to start inktober and also several arts that I've owed people.
