For some reason this photo reminds me of chocolate
I love it, the red goes very well with the black, it makes the roses stand out beautifully

thanks, it was really by accident, i was adjusting the brightness and moved the slider too far lol and the backgroung just went black and i thought it looked right lol.

Looks pretty nice.
I think it would've been a bit better if more of the foreground rose was in focus since it's a bit blurry at the center. Unless of course that's what you were going for.

thanks. it would have been nice if more of it was in focus but the capabilities of my camera don't go that far. it doesn't have a broad focusing range

well i use a NIKON D40. i don't know who your brother is so i won't quiestion his knollege on cameras. if you research that camera you will notice that it is pretty much a BASIC, standard DSLR camera. trust me, i have one... if it had a wider focus range i'd know about it.

Well okay. I don't know too much about cameras. He uses a Canon 40D, so they might be quite different.

yeah thay are 2 very different cameras... and the cannon eos 40D is a far greater camera than mine lol
