Halixia here is from an RP I'm doing. She's the amalgamation of upwards of 2,000 people, and can shapeshift into any form using parts from those 2,000 people. How did she come to be, exactly? It's a long story. >.> But this is her "default" form, an idealized, athletic body with four arms.This one's dedicated to my partner in crime for this character's creation, ~Ravenlock , and also to =keatts2 , who appreciates four-armed forms and considers them as ideal as I do. ^^

Okay, not quite as flexible as I hoped, but it leaves room for some creativity. I still wonder, though: could she use the mass of her other selves to, say, boost herself to a 20-foot tall version of herself, or maybe increase the length and/or diameter of her arms?

I'll admit that four-armed characters are pretty cool, but you had me at the word "shapeshift"
I've always thought shapeshifting is one of the coolest powers around, especially if you can do more than just change your appearance. It could be you have three or four different forms, each with different abilities. Or maybe you have a body as malleable as clay or water (body composition can vary from one shapeshifter to the next).
On that note, what all do her powers entail? I'd imagine that they're more "cosmetic" in nature than my examples, but (if the extra arms are any indication) she's probably more flexible than Mystique

Halixia can change her body into any configuration using mass from her 2,000 old selves, and can make any of those individual parts look like parts from her 2,000 old selves. The changes also affect her clothes, and can affect her density if she so chooses. She can also summon mass to copy herself, but doing so has the potential to break her hive mind, so she doesn't abuse this power too much. Any mass she's not using (read: 99% of her true body weight) is stored in a pocket dimension that only she has access to. The more mass she has summoned at once, the quicker she gets fatigued.
So she's more flexible than Mystique in that her entire structure can be as creative as she wants it to be, but less flexible in that she can't turn into just anyone... But she can approximate other people's looks pretty closely.

I noticed you said that she can take on "any configuration using mass from her 2,000 old selves." That has different implications than, say, simply "using the body parts of her old selves." Does this mean she can draw on her mass to take on any shape she wants, even if it's not within human norms? And I don't just mean extra limbs, either
And out of sheer curiosity, how did she acquire all that mass? You mentioned a hive mind; is she some kind of assimilator, or was there just some kind of disaster that fused a couple thousand people into one entity?

It depends on the desired form. She can reduce herself down to smaller forms, even down to a gas, but she can't, like, turn into an elephant... Unless it was a bunch of human parts shaped like an elephant.
One of her original selves was a gluttony demon, who ate the others.

Long story short: Azzy had a character that had been made a demon of Gluttony--so she'd devour people to absorb them. After removing the demonic absorption powers, she still got 'stuck' enveloping my character, and so her and my minds are the main hived minds. Then we decided on the features since she had so many to choose from, kept the four arms as our main shape, and went with that!

If she can choose between parts of 2000 people, it's pretty much expected she'd take the best to build a perfect "default" body
Also, do her shapeshifting habilities allow her to change her ammount of appendages?

Interesting. I guess that gives her an extraordinare endurance, for example, she can temporarily rid of her digestive system to give room to extra hearts and lungs, or regain her strength quickly by replacing the fatigued muscles with unfatigued ones.
And what happens if she gets hurt and replaces the damaged body part with a healthy one? Does the stored body part get healed eventually or does she need to use attach it for it to heal?

The damaged body part will get healed eventually, but how fast it heals is unclear. She'll usually just abandon that part for another one of the same type.

Not necessarily. If she uses her shapeshifting powers too much in a single sitting, she gets fatigued and ultimately won't be able to shift anymore for a while. Besides, a good bullet through the head could damage her brain enough to where she wouldn't have enough time to think about regenerating.

your detail with the body has gotten way better, just to be honest i'm starting to feel that u have a weak spot in eye shape.
its hard to explain but its hard to differentuate from characters with similar eye shapes. its no dire problem but it would put the icing on the cake tho.

I don't know what you're getting at here. >.o Halixia's eye shape is way different from any other shape I've drawn before. Hers are more stylized and narrow than even Jenn's.

Well, I see you've inserted Elva into a wide variety of genres, so you could go with anything, really. Magic and super-science are standard fare. Maybe she was submitted to torturous mad experiments? Or perhaps they were a blessing from a god? Maybe she was mutated by radioactive mists after getting lost in action somewhere... Given all the different fantasy settings - from cyber to classical - that you put this character in, the list is endless.

I'm not aware of any classical fantasy species that have multiple arms.
