Yay! I'm finally all caught up!

~neonigma3 asked me about doing a drawing of Haven back in April when I opened up my request line. I had to think a while about that one. Haven was such an old character, one that I had banished to my scraps back in early 2006 since I had no interest in drawing her at all. (Seriously, three heads on one body is hard!) But I told him I'd see what I could do. I did, after all, need the practice.

So I kept putting it off and putting it off and putting it off (while writing Origin, drawing sudden-inspiration quickies, and fulfilling other requests took the forefront) until I finally started working on it in June. And when I got to the coloring stage, I hit a snag. I stepped back from my monitor, took a look at Haven's three manes of blond hair, and said to myself, "This looks boring."

So I went back to the monitor and fiddled with the color of the hair on Haven's left head, making it red. I kinda chuckled to myself while doing it, thinking, "Maybe having that many heads makes one indecisive?" I continued this train of thought, making Haven's right head a brunette, and eventually, I came up with the joke to go with it. Suddenly, I feel a lot better about this drawing, considering I can point out like 16 different mistakes with it.

So yeah, here you go, Neo. Sorry this took forever.
