Description
Yay! I'm finally all caught up!~neonigma3 asked me about doing a drawing of Haven back in April when I opened up my request line. I had to think a while about that one. Haven was such an old character, one that I had banished to my scraps back in early 2006 since I had no interest in drawing her at all. (Seriously, three heads on one body is hard!) But I told him I'd see what I could do. I did, after all, need the practice.
So I kept putting it off and putting it off and putting it off (while writing Origin, drawing sudden-inspiration quickies, and fulfilling other requests took the forefront) until I finally started working on it in June. And when I got to the coloring stage, I hit a snag. I stepped back from my monitor, took a look at Haven's three manes of blond hair, and said to myself, "This looks boring."
So I went back to the monitor and fiddled with the color of the hair on Haven's left head, making it red. I kinda chuckled to myself while doing it, thinking, "Maybe having that many heads makes one indecisive?" I continued this train of thought, making Haven's right head a brunette, and eventually, I came up with the joke to go with it. Suddenly, I feel a lot better about this drawing, considering I can point out like 16 different mistakes with it.
So yeah, here you go, Neo. Sorry this took forever.

Out of curiosity... What was the experiment? (I realize you made this years ago, but just humor me)

Haven jokingly wanted to test the theory that "blondes have more fun" by dying the hair of her side heads.
The idea was that, because she could experience her surroundings from three perspectives, she would be able to tell if her blonde head was inherently having more fun than the other two.
Like she said, flawed. >.>

So she didn't give herself more heads for the experiment?

Haven is one person, so naturally each head knows what the other two are thinking and feeling.
I never said how many stomachs she has; I think her body could fit at least two.

Yes, but does she have more fun is the question.

So how does that work? Does the girl in the middle control anything? Does the brunette control the right arms and get sensaions from the right breasts, and the Redhead the same on the right?

Something like that. Haven's left and right heads each control the arms on their own side, and can also feel everything on their own side, all the way from head to toe. Meanwhile, the middle head (Haven's true center of consciousness) controls the legs and can feel sensations from anywhere on the body, except of course from the other two heads. This is all moot for the most part, though, since all three heads are the same person.
However, if Haven ever becomes bored, frustrated, or in any way unfocused, her outer two heads will start to behave semi-autonomously, as seen in the above drawing. Haven can gain back her control over them at any time if and when this happens, but in this particular drawing, she's not trying to. By letting her minds roam free like this, Haven enhances her ability to multitask and monitor her surroundings.

Cool, I like this one. We need to see more of her. Maybe you could write stories with Haven in them?

Yes. Let's just say she got tired of people thinking she was extra-dumb.
