A little character portrait. Experimented with textures, among other things.And yes, there is a reason for the two people down there. If I were to elaborate further though, I would have to prattle, and you wouldn't want me to do that. ;]

I absolutely love this piece. The textures are so rich, so engulfing... I feel like I can reach out and touch the screen, and feel them beneath my fingers. I also love the look on his face. There is someting of a hunter there, and such a bored saddness that says "I have saduced and conquered a mil;lion times. Their adoration is meaningless." HIs clothing is absolutely amasing, and the detail which you put into it is astounding.
A slso very much like the look of mindless rapture upon the faces of those at his feet. Victems or Thralls, it makes no difference. They have this look which says, "For his passion we would brave hell," And yet, they hardly retain enough of their sould to be able to make that decision.
This is a stunning work and my favorite of yours to date. +1 fave of course.
