Appearance:
Dom holds himself with an air of strength and confidence. He is almost as big as he is tall, standing an impressive 6’5” with broad shoulders. He is toned from years of training and fighting with his trainer and then on his own. He has dark skin and dyed blue hair, the mohawk section of his cut a light red. He keeps himself mostly well groomed, save for his face where he leaves dark stubble visible. He really likes sunglasses okay.

Dominik is a blunt and straight-forward kind of man; often not realizing whatever it is he is saying might be hurtful. He has a tendancy to point out in the bad in people or 'accidentally mock' people for their flaws. He laughs when people stutter or flounder, having gotten in trouble more than once for laughing at a person of the law doing such things.

He has a willingness to jump headfirst into things, even if they seem dangerous or dirty. This means he often ends up in fights or bad situations. While he is a fast thinker; getting jobs done in the quickest manner possible (see. not always the best way possible), he lacks patience and is quick to anger or become frustrated with things. He is not necessarily violent but will at times snap at people, verbally as a human and literally as a Feraligatr.

He likes to think that he is quick to pick up on the emotions of people around him; gloating that he has stopped several attacks on fellow staff because of his 'quick thinking'. His abundance of energy doesn't make this any easier. He lives in the moment and when things are going too slow for him, he become restless and will funnel his energy into whatever happens to be closest. This of course means he has a great deal of unfinished projects or has lost a great deal of money in the past.

Dom is fiercely loyal to his friends and family; and will always remain loyal to his trainer in one way or another.

One should note that as a Feraligatr he has a tendancy to 'fly off the handle' as such. Factor in his size and teeth and this becomes an issue in everyday life; not-so in battles.

History:
He was, once upon a time, a trainers first Pokemon and a young, overly excited little Totodile. His trainer, young himself at the time, took on the challenge of the Johto Pokemon League; fighting his way through the gyms, evolving and eventually reaching the pinnacle; the Elite Four. While they lost their chance at fame, Dominik and his trainer’s excitement barely wavered.

Their loss created an opportunity for a different life, one in adventuring and touring the world; battling on the side for cash to continue moving. These years, he will recall, were among the hardest, and the ones he learned his current profession; if a little strangely. His Trainer took up working in bars during downtimes when they hadn’t enough money to carry on; and as faithful and loyal as ever he stood by and watched.

Eventually their travels bought them here, to Kalos. A young man now, his Trainer sought out a quieter and more routine life than the one he had lived to this point. Dominik, not one for sitting around, was understandably annoyed by this choice. As several years passed and Dominik found his Trainer ‘settling down’, having found a wife; he realized he would no longer be adventuring on.

Taking the one material thing his Trainer loved, a pair of sunglasses, Dominik took off on his own. Through the many connecting rivers he eventually found himself at Courmarine City. Here is where he discovered the technology known as a 'Dittech' had been produced in the thousands. A friend of his made since arriving in the city explained the uses and secrecy behind the invention; almost instantly grabbing the Feraligatr's interest. In a bid to finally be rid of his old life, and completely throw his trainer off any potentional trail, he acquired (see. stole) a Dittech. Since becoming human he has made a small name for himself as a bartender, a profession he remembers fondly and which allows for a different pace each night.

Tonight was a good night. A big night. Some popular band he didn’t care for the name of happened to playing at the resort, attracting a crowd of unknown faces and guests. He of course was listed on for a double shift, six hours of tending at the bar and another three acting as a security bouncer.

He sighed, eyeing the man, a regular, half slumped across the table, failing rather splendidly at trying to acquire more alcohol.

“For the last time, no Tom, I’m not serving you anymore, no matter how much you beg and plead and tell me how much of a regular you are,” he grinned as the man groaned, pushing his forehead into the cool wood.

“Just a little,” the man, Tom, said; pinching his fingers together in a way to show how little he meant, “Come’on man. I’ll tip you big time.”

Dominik snorted, grabbing a hose to fill a glass full of ice cold water, passing it over to the man, “That’s all you’re getting, now go bug someone else before I call security”

Tom of course grumbled his discontent, still however grabbing up the glass of water, pointing a shaky finger at Dom’s hair, “Ya look like a fuggin’ Totodile or somethin’ by the way, anyone ever told you that?”

A flipped finger was all he received in return, Dominik intent on focusing on his cleaning duties, hiding a knowing smirk from other patrons and staff.
