Its not to hard no, but its a bit glitchy.. Mostly because of its tail you try to cut. If you cut it near an edge, you have to restart over because you can't reach the item.

Seath the scaleless who betrayed the everlasting dragons, stole the primordial crystal, and eventually went insane. What a boss he was. Why'd he have a library if he was blind?

As far as I know according to the storyline, Seath wanted to be immortal and studied in the libary to gain knowledge and power. Eventually he found out in his research how to become immortal and so started his madness. That's why the gate to the libary has been sealed in the beginning, so he was trapped in that libary enjoying his immortality lol. (Sealed was probably done by Lord Gwyn)
