Looks good! -- I like how the eye is drawn down to the orange forms at the bottom, but is brought back to the contrast of black and white. The solidity of the forms is very appealing, too.
Sorry you lost this one -- When I give away art, I usually regret it later because as I improve, my earlier art looks increasingly amateurish and bad . I can't take it back and so it shames me forever! Your case is the opposite -- If there is any consolation, it is that your art is out there and promoting your reputation

Thank you for your gracious comment. I tend to give my better work as gifts. The regrets are balanced when I see one of my paintings framed in someone's house.

I also have given away artworks with good intentions and then later have missed my work so much it aches. Can't ask for my art back though!!
