Description
1997 watercolor on rag paperTrying a new technique using a sea sponge. Unfortunately the size of the image is small because of the limited techology I had at my disposal 22 years ago.

Thanks. I only used 3 colors, viridian green, cobalt blue and ultramarine.

Lovely colours, I see a storm coming in. I love using sea sponges, the different effects can be inspiring. I have a large jar full of different textured sea sponges to work with. I love the light in the centre of you piece. Β Β

Thank you Linda. I did it in California, but sold it when I got to MΓ©xico. I wish I hadn't, but I needed to eat!

Thank you! I think I only used 3 colors and the sponge. It was quite long ago.

Lovely use of abstract colour here to compliment each other. 'Change in the weather', (good Title) gives this painting an image in my mind, i can see Rain Clouds and i light source. there even appears to be a dreamy landscape. perfect Abstract capture here.

Thanks. Hard to believe that was 22 years ago. I was so naive and daring back then. Your interpretation is spot-on. You may even see a silhouette of a person in the foreground. BTW, I just recovered a bunch of scans that I made in California and I'm posting them while I'm working on my latest painting. I guess I'm using dA as my cloud storage.
