I did this a month before the attack on the World Trade Center and I didn't understand it when I painted it. We were definitely living under a false sense of security in August of 2001.

If you've ever seen an infant in a tantrum pounding on his mother's chest because he didn't get what he wanted, then you comprehend violence. Violence is an infantile response to reality.

Thank you. I did this in August 2001, about a month before the World Trade Center disaster. Evidently we were indeed living under a false sense of security.
It is one of many "prophetic" paintings I have done. Another one, "The Roof is on Fire" I did shortly before the roof fire at Notre Dame.
Strange enough, I also "predicted" my move to Mexico and my broken finger through paintings that I didn't understand at the time, but later explained themselves.
I call this phenomenon "premembering", just like remembering, but in the future. It used to scare me, but now it's like normal. Sometimes I think of a person I haven't seen in a long time, and the next day I see them. Or I think of an old song, and then it comes on the radio.

That is so Awesome!! There are so much in life we cannot explain, I think we have many senses that we do not use consciously. It doesn’t scare me at all! ❤️
But, I’m SO not going to ask you about «my future», haha
My 3 daughters and I are a little «telepathic» I think... we often get the same thoughts and ideas at exactly the same time! We call one another on the mobil at exactly the same time, and we say the same sentences/word simutaneously as well. My brother/their uncle calls us the 4 witches, haha!
