James, I've been trying to resist the urge to believe that this was an intentional global assault by some globalist organization for some nefarious reason, wreck the economy, ruin Trump, cull the population, eliminate civil liberties, etc. because to believe that makes me afraid of all the sheeple who just obey and believe the media and government. Why is it so easy for you and I to smell a rat, while others smell a rose? 

My current #1 hypothesis is that China created it and released it in Wuhan, knowing it was just a cold virus and wouldn't do much harm. Still they created a panic in Wuhan and 5 million people left the city before they shut it down. Where they went, the virus followed. 

Nevertheless, your point about the Brexit/Trump one-two punch may have mobilized the global socialists to create the crisis is credible. (BTW, doesn't Brexit/Trump resemble Thatcher/Reagan?) Yes, their dream of a united socialist Europe and an Obama third term disappeared like a puff of pot smoke. They had motive and opportunity.

I don't know if you remember the AH1N1 virus that startedi¿ in México. It was called the Swine Flu. The head of the World Health Organizatioin at the time, Margaret Chan, was in México the week before the virus appeared. Coincidence? Eventually many people put two and two together. Again, a relatively benign virus, but providing a wealth of rea-time study of how disease spreads. 

Beginning last year, there were violent protests in Hong Kong, Iran, Chile, México, France, Venezuela and many other countries. Notice how quickly the quarantine eliminated those protests? People who choose security over freedom will have neither. The masters must be shaking their heads in wonder how easy it was to eliminate civil liberties. 

So you see there are a lot of scenarios to choose from. Going through the long painful withdrawl from freedom is going to be tough.

i can fully get an idea and imagine these Hypothesis. time will tell, i mean, everything now is being driven away from The blame being placed on China and now this Communist Country that Started this virus, are now acting as the saviours by producing Masks, ventilators and testing kits and providing money, which i was reading the testing kits do not work and the masks are pointless. i even saw a Chinese factory worker on twitter at the mask factory in bare feet wiping his dirty feet in these masks -  laughing and all these masks are for export..so why should we trust China? why is the W H O saying it's racist to say the virus comes from China? why is the western news medias and politicians saying it's racist to say the virus comes from china? why should we trust a Communist Country? to me, this is a bio-weapon, and against the Geneva convention and therefore an act of war, Trump is fighting against Communist news media and bought and paid for Communist leftist Politicians that have infiltrated the US and the constitution. placing everyone under house arrest is unconstitutional and Authoritarian, it's happening in most countries, Drones, spying on people, Telling neighbours to report People who disobey house arrest orders or anyone coughing, i saw only today, a zombie like collective in there houses singing a Mantra that sounded like something the communist globalists hand book on a stealth take over, 'We all need to take the Vaccine, we all need the new world order'' and so on. this was on a morning news channel, which most are Leftist Commies. But i think many are starting to become aware and questioning all the draconian laws being passed, Nigel Farage is starting to suspect something stinks here like a dead rat. call me crazy but nothing makes any sense.

You're right, nothing makes sense. Now the good news: I talk to a lot of ordinary people, shopkeepers, chicken vendors shoe shiners, every walk of life and there is a consensus that this is a conspiracy to fundamentally change the way the world operates. It's quite brilliant, you must admit. It's Austin Powers vs. Dr. Evil, but not as funny. 

Jimmy, you know that they have all these meetings in Davos, the G-8, the G-20, the UN, all the time. No one knows WTF they discuss. This must have been years in the making. We are so damn gullible. They lied for 3 years about Trump-Russia collusion, but we're supposed to trust them to tell us the truth about this?

Thank God the people here are so cynical, stubborn and notoriously quick to rebel. The streets in my colony are packed today, people spending money, kissing hello, eating ice cream, happy as hell.

I suppose you've heard about how to cook a frog. If you haven't:

If you put a live frog in boiling water, it will jump out of the pot.
You must put the frog in a pot of cold water and slowly warm it until it's boiling.

According to Goethe and Kandinsky, color harmony results when there is 51% blue, 34% red and 17% yellow. I have tried to achieve it many times over the years, often without success. This one almost gets there. Thanks for the comment Bunny.
