...I've really been neglecting my dA lately (art-wise, at least) rip ;;;
Anyway I decided to wait a little, but now that 1.) SSBU is already officially released, and 2.) the collab is up for a while, I can finally post what I've been busy working on during the previous month lol~
This was a piece I worked on for a Smash collab, and you can also say it's my take on the whole #DrawYourRosterUltimate thing that's been going around as of late~ :3c
And yes, the characters you're seeing here are pretty much my mains (and gonna be my mains when I get SSBU) as well as my fave alts for them~
Hot take: Dark Pit's victory animations and his gold alt (I still remain loyal to his white alt, tho) are hella sexy >;3c //shot

I main dark pit as well.
I still using him in smash 4, and in ultimate, this will sound crazy but Of the 74 fighters I only use dark pit

Funny enough, I only ever really used Dark Pit and Luigi since my introduction to Smash via SSB4 
Mario and Dr. Mario somehow ended up being my mains as well on SSBU because they were my best characters for most of my journey in World of Light and it took forever to recruit Luigi and Dark Pit lol xP
//but aaahh I'm rambling at this point ;;
And whoa! That's some serious dedication you got with Dark Pit :'D To be honest my original reason for deciding to use him over Pit back in SSB4 was because I personally liked his Side B better over Pit's and I don't really like using Pit's arrows to move around and gimp the opponents x'D
Now I personally just really like Dark Pit and the fact his Up Taunt is sexy as hell lmAO B')

Well, you have the reason about the dark pit mains, each day they are less in the whole world (regrettably) ;w;
let me tell you something: About my first times with dark pit it wasn’t too easy understand him....
I met dark pit in 2014, I was playing a normal battle and then dark pit appeared for challenging me, so I can unlock him, in that time I was like: I am just wasting my time, It looks identical from one of my characters that I already have in my roster (I didn’t know pit’s name yet)
In 2015 I was without a main, so in that time I chose random, and in one of those, the game choose me dark pit, I was like: seriously, this again? I played with dark pit a lil angry because in that time I was lost with him I didn’t know how use him and many other things....
at the end of 2015 I kinda remember one character I used in previous times (dark pit) I decided to give dark pit one opportunity more, so I decided to use him against level 9 CPU, at the end of the battle I was impressed about dark pit, that battle made me regret me about the bad behavior and how rude I was with the poor dark pit, days after I decided to choose dark pit as a temporary main, I played online battles, battles against level 9 CPU and more difficult things, I think that it was finally time for picking a main so I pick dark pit.
In the present I formed a very strong relation with dark pit.
months passed and finally I finish loving dark pit, for me is cute, very very cute, I don’t know why but I can say you that for me dark pit is more cute than Isabelle, I like his eyes, they are more wild than pit’s ones, his eyebrows are thinner than pit’s ones, his eyeliner is much better than pit ones, and being honest I dedicate too much time to dark pit, after finishing my activities, I dedicate the most time I have to dark pit, doing drawings about him, investigating more about him, training in smash with dark pit and many things more, in that time I think that I will start a never ending adventure.
I like Mario as well and I main him, but comparing him with dark pit he does not come close to him a single inch, being honest, I like Mario but I prefer dr Mario, (I like more echo fighters than the original)
it was was a large road to take about this, but thinking on it dark pit take me soo far, I went to a tourney and I didn’t won but I won in a good position 5th place or 6th place I guess, dark pit literally completely change my lifestyle, also I can say that for me dark pit is broken (well his side taunt is really broken).
About taunts, dark pit’s taunt that I love is The “Who wants some” taunt is very cute and challenging for other people.
about the skin colors, I like dark pit’s eight appearance (purple) and also the fifth appearance (red with yellow) I love it, rarely I use the green and the tanned skin but, I use also the white skin.
about the victory poses, I like dark pit doing the nice try pose, It’s cute and soo edgy that I like it very much, also when dark pit is saying to pit “where’s your goodness now?!” It’s edgy and cute at the same time

I've always been faithful to Dark Pit and Luigi's white alts since SSB4 (Dark Pit's because I'm silly and want to make it look like he's dressing up as Pit and Luigi's because he can look like he has a permanent Fire Flower status on~

Glad you're enjoying ssbu, it'll take a while before I own a Switch and the game tho ;; I'm wrapping up commissions so I can secure whatever earnings I have for the system and the game since I plan to get it in the time frame to acquire Piranha Plant for free
...which reminds me that I might have to temporarily unwatch some KI/Smash/Nintendo groups here in dA because now that the game's officially released, chances are my notifications would be filled with art having spoilers from the game ;; I'm at least glad there's one KI group I know that would keep submissions spoiler-free for at least three months lol

pfft. ngl, dark pit being bros with luigi sounds absolutely awesome, not to mention i can actually see it. like i noticed a lot of people who cling onto dark pit's terrible fanon like to interpret him as some lone wolf with no friends/no interest in friends and honestly, i see it so much it just gets tiring tbh. i can see daisy being like a cool big sis figure to him too.
my mains consist of link/young link, marth/lucina, pit/dark pit, and shulk. i do want to expand my horizons and practice with zelda (love her design), robin and chrom.
i hope you'll be able to get it in time for the piranha plant. that reminds me, i need to redeem my code so i can get my free plantlol.
i don't blame you. speaking of which, i decided to do the same over at club pit because not everyone will be able to get their hands on smash during release.
