Okay~!

I never knew college would already be so art-intensive just on the first year! Our History class prof. wanted us to create our own Philippine Myth and said we should do it in a very creative way since we were Multimedia Arts students

Anyway! This was my own version of the myth:

"Long ago, the Earth was dead. No water, just vast barren plains of soil and empty skies.There was only one entity in the universe—a goddess. The goddess was however very lonely. She had no children. So day by day, she cried endlessly until her tears flooded the Earth. After the goddess’ great depression, she saw that her tears had engulfed many parts of the earth. But she was relieved to also see that several islands of various sizes remained. She then realized that she could not cry nor live alone forever, so she descended from the skies and gave up all her power and life to the islands. Not long after, plants sprouted from the earth and living beings great and small came into existence.

Thus, the Philippines was created."

Someone told me something quite helpful--there was no mentioned way of how the other countries were created lol, my bad Let's just say not only the Philippines was created, but the whole world >w<

Well I hope both the story and the artwork aren't so lame Hope you guys like it!
