Allen wondered what he'd done to deserve this. Who had he enraged to be punished this way? Clearly someone who knew his weakness, and weren't afraid to use it against him. Whoever it turned out to be, he was going to kick their sorry ass when he found out who it was.

Because this was just unfair. Foul play. Not okay.

Now, many may call Allen a man without respect for other people and their emotions - which were, to be honest, true - but in her case, it was not. He didn't want to drive her away, he... Cared about her. As disguisting that was for him to admit. And he was definetaly not planning on doing that anytime soon... He might have to reconcider.

He scoffed to himself. "Feelings", who needed them anyways?

Trying to concentrate on his work again, as he had done before he'd been rudely interrupted by this totrure, he fixated his gaze on his computerscreen...

... For aprox 35 microseconds. He sighed, his nail burrowing into the palm of his hand.

He should never have left home this morning.

He had come to this café, at Oliver's recomendation, to chill for a moment. To take it easy and just forget about everybode else, as well as doing some work. He clearly shouldn't have listened to that daft old british dude.

Because it was clear it was him who was behind this.

He probably thought he was playing matchmaker or something, setting this scene up. Allen scowled, trying to resist walking up to her. He was tapping his fingers quickly against his keyboard - which he was actually supposed to write an essey about something or other on, but he wasn't sure about the subject yet. Taptaptaptaptaptaptap... He wasn't even writing anything, just drumming his fingers on it to try and relieve the mental stress he was under.

She had to work to this café? Right at this time of the day?!

Allen was sure it was a conspiracy. Continuing the enless tapping, another costumer of the café sent him a dirty look - to which Allen responded with the finger, not lifting his strained gaze from the woman at the counter.

It was ____.

And, god almighty, what was she wearing?

A pencilskirt.

Allen knew that it was probably the caféstaff uniform. He knew it wasn't supposed to look good. But it did.

She was slaying that skirt.

Allen felt like he'd popped a vain trying so hard not to walk over and just... Tap that instead of his stupid keyboard.

But he respected her, he told himself. He cared about her feelings, and he didn't want to put her on the spot.

But this was just too much to handle.

And that's when it took a turn for the worst.

She spotted him.

"Al!" She said, walking up to him with a cute smile.

He tried to return the smile without looking like a total creep. "H-heyyy..." He said, feeling like he was about to have a stroke from straining himself too hard. "Fancy seeing you here."

"Yeah!" She replied. "I didn't know you liked cafés?"

He chuckled a bit, leaning his chin in his hand in an attemt to look casual. "Well, there's a lot you don't know about me~"

She huffed, smile still visable. "Yeah, I'm sure... I couldn't help to notice that you were looking. Were it something that you needed?"

'You' he thought.

"Mm, yeah! Could I get a refill of this?" He said instead, handing her his empty coffee cup.

"Sure thing, Al." She smiled - a faint blush on her cheeks which he found adorable.

'Concentrate, Allen' He thought to himself. 'You can do this.'

She turned around to leave.

'You respect her.'

But it was just too good to resist.
