Here's another one of the inmates in Techatraz Prison. It's Line Man! He may see rather chilled, but given his obsession with electricity and time in Techatraz, looks can be VERY deceiving... especially if you happen to be an electricity-slinging robot who he wants to mooch electricity from!

When the "Fire" button is held down, the Line Shocker releases a a stretching wire that can be aimed in up to four directions at a set distance. As soon as the "Fire" button is released, the wire begins to electrify for a few seconds while damaging nearby enemies!

TPN-005: LINE MAN
(Weapon: Line Shocker)

Once an electrician, Line Man's job was to provide electricity for various homes and buildings in need (such as hospitals and power plants during times of emergency). However, he soon learned just how invigorating the power of electricity was and began to siphon tons of it for himself, leaving many people without power. Once his employers caught wind of his electricity-thieving antics, they became furious and reported him to Mega City's police force, resulting in him getting arrested after he fell for a sting operation and sentenced to Techatraz Prison, where his electricity was limited and his cables had been enclosed with rubber insulators. After getting broken out by a mysterious figure, he was given the chance to siphon not just the prison's power supply, but also some electrical substations in case he wanted to "change his tastes", leaving him eager to take the figure's offer in exchange for servitude to them.

At first glance, Line Man may seem like the kind of individual who's always relaxed and hardly lets anything bother him (unless there's electricity bills getting sent to him, where in that case, he'll start panicking instead). However, do NOT be fooled. If he sees you in an area that has tons of electricity in it, he'll attempt to "help himself" by draining every single ounce of electricity. He once even attempted to sneak into Akihabara with the intent to get more electricity for himself until Plug Man caught him in the act during one of his shopping sprees after work, resulting in Line Man getting chased off by several police robots.

"That's some nice electricity you've got there, man... Mind if I help myself?"
