Description
Caelumnatura The World of Time and Purity
Dafak did I just do to this place...
Caelumnatura, a lush green world where land dominates the planet's surface. Thousands of rivers flow through the mainland separating these lands into small islets and deltas. Most of the land is covered in forest, the rest is covered in snow. What little water in this planet is normally underground and the largest water formations above ground are normally called lakes although the waters separating the forests from the tundra are known as seas. There are a number of floating islands that roam the skies, the cause of which is said to be either psychic type pokemon or an abundance in a mineral that allows flight. This mineral is found in all galaxies and mining it on Caelum is very much forbidden.
Caelum is surrounded by eight moons, some of which are habitable and is connected to Caleumnatura via a world gate found in the heart of Caelum City.
The eight moons are as follows:
Pyra the Fire Moon (Habitable)
Gracea the Grass Moon (Habitable)
Kurysta the Ice Moon
Jaruthra the Rock Moon
Reptilia the Dragon Moon (Habitable)
Mjolra the Thunder Moon (Habitable)
Urania the Water Moon (Habitable)
Areadia the Cloud Moon
Culture:
Caelum plays host to a vast variety of culture, spawned from the fact that not only is it home to natural born Caelumnians and refugees, but it has also become the home for nomadic peoples from various places in the galaxy. The most notable lifestyle in this world however is their backwater way of living.
Education:
Education is practically done in the home, however in the cities, there are actual "universities" that teach the youth. Bilskirnir is the only city that provides "proper" education.
Note that there is no such thing as elementary, high school and college in Caelum.
Weather:
Caelumnatura only has three seasons. Spring, Summer and Fall.
Spring: The time for flowers to bloom. Most of the harvests are planted at this time and it's the time to get twitter-pated... if you know what I mean... Druids and Shamans would come to worship the earth spirits at this time. It's also the time for Caelum's annual Spring Festival. New Druids, Shamans and Priests are celebrated in this season. Snow fall in the icy areas are light.
Summer: The flowers have all ripened into fruit and loads of new pokemon are born in late in this season. The trees make sure it's still cool enough so as not to hate the summer sun. Going to the beaches close to Sea Port has become popular these days but still highly inadvisable due to hostile tribes living close to Caelum's seas. Snow fall in icy areas cease.
Fall: Harvest time. The annual Falling Leaves Festival is celebrated in accordance to the bountiful harvest. This time, it's the priests turn to hold these celebrations. Snow fall in icy areas are heavy.
Winter is only known in Kyurem's land, though it is reported that heavy blizzards would occasionally hit the unknown lands down south. Rain only occurs depending on Styx's will. Heavy winds across the forests only come according to her will as well. The snows both North and South also sway to Kyuu's mood and the people of Frostria have started to use the weather in Kyurem's Land to determine the Ice Leader's mood.
Fauna:
The dense forests are home to numerous types of Bug, Grass, Flying and Normal type pokemon. In the barren deserts, live ground, rock and electric pokemon. Close to the shores and living in the swamps are the elusive water types. It is almost unlikely to find a wild fire type pokemon in Caelum. However one should note that one of Caelum's moons plays host to fire types. The most common fire type that can be found in Caelumnatura are Ponyta and Rapidash that live in Grassy Plains.
Cities:
Caelum City
The "main" or at least, the "known" city of Caelumnatura. Named after the world itself, this is where pirests, shamans, druids, refugees and practically everyone involved in the war reside. Caelum City is found in a delta or quadra... right below Suicune Lake.
Central Treetop Village
This is the root village of a tribe of warriors living in Treetop forest. It is large enough to be called a city and houses the strongest families of the Treetop tribes. It is noted that those from these villages are hostile to any outsider, especially to those from Caelum City. Anyone unlucky enough to find themselves in their territory is better off dead. The villages are mostly made up of ape-like pokemon. They seem to get along with the surrounding water villages.
Bilskirnir
The city of the dragons. The proud dragons who had come to Caelumnatura in the midst of the war found it distasteful to live in Caelum City and founded themselves a city they could call their own in what is now called as the Dragon's Land. Bilskirnir is the main source of Caelum's Paladins and this is the only place that provides advanced training to anyone who wishes to advance further as a paladin. This city is headed by a Dragonite named Lancelot.
Sea Port:
The merchant city. A world gate resides in this area that's meant specifically for trade purposes. There are two ways to get to sea port. Enter through the world gate, via the universal gate (which would warrant permission from Obelisk, the gate keeper) or travel from Caelum City towards the South East. The journey is long but safe (although brigands have started to pop up close to the trade routes) and you won't have to figure out a way around that senile Heatran.
The Winner's Market and the InterUniversal Market are found here (and so is a hidden portal towards the Black Market). The markets were moved to sea port due to it's strategic location and the fact that Caelum needed more space for more refugees.
Frostria:
Home to the ice and water types. This city built up entirely of ice worship Kyurem as their god- or goddess in this case. I doubt Kyuu's actually aware of this. They're warm and welcoming to visitors however they'll be happier if you leave their lands right away.
Others:
Suicune Lake
Actually pertains to a lake found in the center of this large delta-island where Suicune are normally seen (And this is also where both Styx and Boreas live). It has now come to describe the Suicune-horn like impression on the land created by two splitting rivers. Caelumnians once knew nothing about the land beyond these rivers (not even Bilskirnir) but after the expansion of the city, they have now gone further and even settled dangerously close to Treetop Forest.
Poketypes: Grass, Water, Flying, Bug, Normal
Kyurem's Land
This frozen continent normally beaten on a daily basis by an almost unending blizzard is said to be the birth place of Kyurem (well actually it's not). Very few dare to live here and they're all ice type pokemon who have taken to live underground or close to the shores. This land is said to hold a great secret.
Poketypes: Ice, Water
Treetop Forest
A vast area claimed by the Treetop villages. This forest is riddled with rivers everywhere. It is dangerous to come here not because the wild pokemon are a danger but it's because of the tribes that live here.
Poketypes: Grass, Water, Flying, Bug, Normal
Time Forest
An area south of the main city where Puni is said to appear the most. The Time Shrine can be found here.
Poketypes: Grass, Water, Flying, Bug, Normal
Grassy Plains
This area is the only place in the whole of Caelumnatura where you may have the slightest chance of seeing a wild fire-type pokemon. Nomads (Indians) live in this area. They are normally peaceful but once provoked they won't hesitate to attack.
Poketypes: Grass, Normal, Ground, Fire
Dark Forest
Not much is known about Dark Forest other than it is very dangerous and that everyone should stay away from it.
Poketypes: Dark, Ghost, Psychic, Rock, Bug, Poison, Flying
Dragon's Land
A vast desert that the Dragon-types have claimed for themselves. This area is also where you can find a cluster of floating islands that actually stays in one place.
Poketypes: Dragon, Ground, Flying, Electric
Winding Marsh
Home to the vast majority of Water-type villages. This area is the source of Caelum's agriculture. It is also an area rich in mystery and ruins.
Poketypes: Water, Ground
Dead Plain
Once a beautiful forest. An unknown event left this area forever barren and stuck with a mysterious ruin.
Poketypes: Normal, Ghost, Psychic
Unknown Land
As the name suggests, this land is yet to be explored- properly.
Poketypes: None
